ok... jim looking at the baby shoes made me melt.
don't know why this has a low rating... hopefully this will bump it up!
Author's Response: Its a lot cuter having Jim look at shoes than having me look at them, pathetically in Target!

“Yeah, he’s… he’s just perfect. I mean, I know no one is perfect, but you know what I mean.
“Perfect for you.”
“Exactly.”
Oh Jess, I love it!! I want to be able to say that!! You need to get to work on your cloning machine, man!! School? Bleh, cloning is way more important. These tidbits are Awesome with a capital A. Sorry if I'm bogging down your e-mail with "you havea new review...." but I'm bored at work and need something to do! :)
Author's Response:
I want to say it also, but the whole cloning thing isn't happening! He keeps coming out like DWIGHT! And if there is one thing the world does not need, its more Dwights.
Oh yes, I so hate you for giving me lovely reviews. The horror the horror!

I love that ducky bathroom stuff at Target! These were cute. Was the Katie in IV. the purse girl?
Author's Response:
Yeah, every time I go to Target, I have to look at those. Thankfully, my friend understands and we ooh and ahh together. And Katie was not intended to be the Hot Girl... but why not. (keeping count... 4th time I did something something that would be smart but nope, i am not smart)

You write. I love. See a theme?
I really liked when in the last part, Pam just blurted out, "Jim, do you want kids?" I could picture that perfectly.
Pam probably did babysit. I hate kids and I babysit. It pays the bar tab. Although, Pam was probably spending the money on something useful. Like art supplies...or books for school. :)
Author's Response:
hum, i see the theme and i like it :).
i love kids and i babysit. and i don't see how anyone could do it if they didn't love it. but then, people who hate it probably don't do it as much as me (aka it is my full time job).

You crack me up! Honestly, this was wonderful. For me, it was the mister that was baby crazy, so Jim looking at shoes was my favorite.
Author's Response:
i know no guys who are baby crazy. but, in reality, i only know about 2 guys i talk to about stuff like that, so therefore, not a very representative sample.
thanks!

Nice job, Em! This was really cute. I loved the fact that you have people from your RL in your story. I do that too sometimes, but not quite in the same way. Just little details or names that make me smile because they're like inside jokes with myself. ;)
Author's Response: Yeah, I like including bits of RL in my stories. I have something (small) I think in nearly every one of my stories. Its like a little shout out to them (if they ever read it, and if they did I would still deny it)

I have totally been there in Pam's position, "this could be you!!!" course it freaks me out. But I think this is so cute! I especially love how we see how important it is to both of them, but they underplay it to one another. Good job.
Author's Response:
i have that position all the time. for me, it is like, it depends on teh day with the kiddos. after a day like today with fussing and arguing and screaming - kids. nope, never. but there are other days when the kids are sweetie pies and i want them all. but of course, i am still young and single. so oh well.
i think that they both would want kids though. but, with the way their relationship has been, i can see hesitation!

Aw, very sweet. And yes, once you get married people are on your case constantly about babies. Con.Stant.Ly.
Author's Response: People are constantly on MY case about babies. They seem to forget I am still in college and perpetually single. Either that or they already think I have kids. i don't know which is worse.

Very cute. I love baby stories. I have baby fever. My little boy is 8 1/2 months old and we are already talking about having #2.
Author's Response:
My 'babies' - I have two 11 year olds, two 8 year olds, one 5 year old, one 4 year old, one 3 almost 4 year old, and one almost 2 year old. and then i may even have gain an 12 year old, a 10 year old, and a 2 almost 3 year old.
i don't even have kids and i have baby fever. babies are great. :)
