I've read this before... MANY times. Still I sit here sobbing as I read the end of chapter 2 again. I re and reread tons of Jim and Pam fanfic. I absolutely adore it. Some writers bring many emotions out of me. I have to tell you though, I don't often cry at them. Sadness and sorrow? Asolutely. But deep felt tears? I'm sure it's happened but certainly rare. That shows your talent and the depth of your writing. I feel as though I'm watching an episode reading this. Here in chapter 2 it's like I can see and feel Jim's eagerness and anxiety over not hearing from Pam. His willingness to let Karen get things out but then the hot anger when she not only brings in Pam's name, but insults her. His warriness on seeing Dwight, Michael and Toby's mannerisms. Then his anxiety over what the situation could be turning to despair and greif. It pounds at my emotions.
I know it's very likely that you'll never see or read this. However, if you do, though it's been a very long hiatus, PLEASE, with a work like this, that draws emotions from people, it deserves an ending. I'd really really love to see a few more chapters that could wrap this up in such a satisfying way!

OK. I have to admit. As well written as the first couple chapters were, I couldn't read anymore because it made me too sad, and sad hinders my productivity at work, right? please please please finish this story! It's so awesome. At first I was horrified, but as I read on I was amazed. Great writing. Very poignant. I like that Dwight is a shoulder to lean on. Please continue it ;-) There aren't near enough hurt/comfort jim/pam stories out there.
