is it too early to take odds? I know we haven't read Stanley, Jim, Pam and Karen's interrogation yet but... My money is on a certain someone... someone who, on the surface, has a good alibi... BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Author's Response: I gave some people alibis, and some no alibi. The only person who was basically in the wrong place at the wrong time was Jim as you can see. Did the killer plan that, or was it an fortunate stroke of luck that Jim came into the place at that time. More in the future.

Author's Response: I try to limit the amount of vomiting and pant's wetting. If I added more, I would feel like I am writing a Ben Stiller comedy (which I love, but don't want to mimic) I did at first have Dwight throw up and wet his pants. But then I decided that he could share the pain with Michael. I figure Kevin crying like a baby was humiliating enough.

But in response to Dwight's comment on Jim. Notice I put that he said it "regretfully." He really hated clearing Jim. Dwight hates Jim, but he would never put an innocent man behind bars. Dwight usually speaks from his heart and is an honest man in his own warped way.

It's intriguing, well written, and leaves me waiting for the next chapter. What happens when Pam finds out that Jim's scissors are sticking out of Roy's neck? How long does Karen bite her tongue? Who will have Jim's back when he's inevitably arrested? More more more... and soon please!

Remember this is before The Beach and The Job, so Pam and Jim are still estranged. It is amazing how things will look for them both when the chips are down. Maybe Pam put those scissors in Roy's neck? She does have motive to off Roy and she may feel Jim let her down and deserves to be framed? Women can be very vengeful when they feel slighted by a man.
I carefully avoided naming which sex of the killer was in the 1st chapter for a reason. It broadens the suspect list.
