This was so sweet. I loved Pam's "words" on waking up, sounds like me! And of course I loved the proposal, too. I also like stories where I learn something, like the next lunar eclipse. My brain and heart thank you for a story that makes them both happy!
Author's Response: You're very welcome! Yeah, if I could sit in Jim's lap while he was lecturing me on celestial mechanics, I'd be happy. Thanks for reading!

Haha, Pam doesn't wake up easy does she? I am .... quite the freaky morning person. I can wake up after pretty much any amount of sleep really easily. And trust me, if Jim was the one waking me up, I would be up and awake in a nanosecond.
Its such a cute image the two of them together with the quilt out on the patio.
Aww, so sweet, such a cute proposal also.
And I didn't even know about the eclipse until today, so I was a bit late on the whole... seeing it thing. However, I can just say it was probably raining and therefore would have made moon gazing difficult. Yeah, thats my excuse.
Author's Response: Hey, you get another chance to see a lunar eclipse in February 2008, so don't worry. :) Glad you enjoyed this, and thanks for the review!

aawww... this was tooo beautiful. i love the idea that jim loves stargazing and is kind of a geek about it. love your dialogue, and yeah, i can see jim sort of accidentally proposing earlier than he intended... unless, this was his intent all along.. in that case, sneaky sneaky!!
Author's Response: Nah, Jim kinda fell into that proposal. He's an impulsive sort of guy, as we learned on Casino Night. :) Glad you enjoyed this!

Very sweet. Without a lot of details, you still manage to convey the hush and intimacy of the situation, of that sense of isolation that being up very early/very late brings. And, of course, as always you capture their voices perfectly. Ah, fluff. Lovely.
Author's Response: Thank you SO much, nqllisi. I'm an admirer of your work, so getting this response from you is very gratifying. Thanks for reviewing!

Oh...PERFECTION.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you!

This was perfect. And beautiful. It was such a sweet moment between them and your imagery just takes me there. You are an amazing writer.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed this. It was a lot of fun to write! I fear Jim and Pam will not have very many sweet moments in the season to come. *Sigh*

That was about as perfect as any JAM story could ever get for me! I'm glad I read this after dinner because it was dessert!
Author's Response: Thanks! Fluffy frosting, that's all it is. Glad you enjoyed it!

Aww, Jim is an astro-nerd!! I love it! HooHusband owns three telescopes and a pair of astro-binoculars. I have spent many evenings out in a field way outside of civilization and light pollution with red cellophane on the car's dome light.
But I'd still rather go to Hawaii for the honeymoon. (Yup, did that too.) But however you make them be Married!Jam is fine by me :o)
P.S. This was sweet and lovely.
Author's Response: Thanks, lisahoo. That's really sweet of you to say. And I agree about Hawaii for the honeymoon!

The plot is very original, but the thing that bothers me about this is that Pam comes off really very kind of... stupid?
I don't know, it just seems like Jim is doing an awful lot of correcting and explaining (and the chapter notes about the enlightening didn't sit well) that I know if a guy were doing that for my benefit, I'd be rubbed the wrong way.
Just something I noticed.
Author's Response: Ah, well, maybe Pam is just sleepy. :) Thanks for commenting!

Why, you big softie, you. This fluff is so delicious, it doesn't even need a layer of peanut butter ;-) After this, I almost feel guilty that my only post-date fic was about them fighting. So much better like this.
Love how unabashedly romantic this is. (And I even learned something about eclipses!) And that Jim learned all this from his dad - aw. And a proposal too? I'm over the moon...so to speak.
Author's Response: Over the moon. *smort* Good one. I'm glad you enjoyed it, Colette. I just felt like writing something with no depth to it at all, no angst or shadow over these two. Thanks for reviewing it.

Lovely. Really, really lovely!
Author's Response: Thanks, moxie! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Such a treat! I'm on the East coast, and I just missed our limited bit of the show. Nice to see it through the eyes of our favorite couple. Lovely story. I hope you follow up in February : ) Hmmm...who knows what surprises Season 4 will hold...
Author's Response: Hmm. I hadn't really thought of a followup; just dashed this off on the spur of the moment. I'll think about it. Who knows where Jim and Pam will be by February...Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed this, and thanks for reading!

Oh, I just love that! I loved the backwards proposal and Jim's concern about talking to Pam's father. That was just lovely. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. "Backwards proposal". Heh. I like the way you put that.

"And all that is now...and all that is done...and all that's to come, and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon." - Pink Floyd
Yeah, that was the very first thing that went through my mind when I read the title of your story. :)
NEJ, this was so disgustingly sweet and lovely I can't even stand it!! And I mean that in the very best possible sense! Really, just a fantastic little glimpse into this quiet scene between these two kids. Bravo!
"There's no dark side of the moon, really...matter of fact, it's all dark."
Author's Response:
Mose, you have got to buy a new CD. I love the Floyd, too, but there have been more recent albums...:D
Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it's so sweet I need insulin, but I have a feeling Season Four is going to be a rocky road for Jim and Pam, and I felt like giving them at least one nice moment. Thanks for reading!
