Aww, Dwight! He's a hero. Like Hiro. On Heroes. But poor Angela, left behind. It's very true to life that Angela wouldn't cry until someone offers sympathy.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the comments, and also for talking about the story with me at the convention. I appreciate it so much!

So Michael, Jim and Pam live forever? Yeah, I think they will. Thanks for all of these! So sweet, so sad, so clever.
Author's Response: Thanks, NEJ! I really appreciate it.

Of course he dies a hero. How sad. How Dwight. Jim would have wept at the funeral, too.
Author's Response: Defintely! I would have included that if I had space. Thanks for the comment!

LOL!!! I knew he wasn't dead last time! So funny!

Chad Lite wrote the obituary. Again.
LOL! So, so Creed. I'm not sure he will ever die. Like Keith Richards, Creed is preserved for all time by all the drugs he's taken.

I've read every single chapter of this and am continuing to enjoy it.
I am scared to see Jim and Pam die, though. Please make them immortal!
Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
So you want me to do a Highlander crossover? :-)
Thanks for the comment!

I'm glad Kevin had a nice long life with Stacey and made the World Series of Poker finals.

Thanks for the comment!

Sigh...and now it's gonna get really tough to read. I'm glad Dwight died a hero's death; it would have been what he wanted.
Author's Response: Thanks for the comment, EH! Trust me, the last few will be extremely hard to write as well. I don't want to do it, but I can't stop now.

Okay, I'm definitely crying now.
Author's Response: Awww, I feel bad now!

This is beautifully done! Angela crying the hardest at Oscar's funeral really got to me. For some reason, the dynamic in the Accounting corner fascinates me! Question: What made you decide to change some of the dates of birth? For most of them, I see you've stuck with the actor's birth year, but you made Toby, Dwight and Phyllis younger. It just surprised me, because Toby and Dwight definitely seem more like they're 40 than 32, to me. Just wondering!

Kinda a weird thing to be asking here, but can Jim and Pam die in their sleep (together) when they are like 90?

I absolutely love this series, but I've got to say, I'm starting to get a little apprehensive whenever you post a new chapter! They're making me increasingly tearful as time goes on and I know it'll only get worse... Still beautifully done, just kinda scary.
Author's Response: Trust me, I get really nervous as I see the list of remaining character shrink with each story I write. It's gonna be so hard to post those last few!

Dwight dying a hero at age 72 while rescuing people from a burning building is a fitting end.
Author's Response: Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it.

These all have been so appropriate to the characters and I love how you are working the other characters into these stories. Just wanted you to know that you're doing an awesome job and you have a very loyal reader. Keep it up!
Author's Response:
That means so much to me! Thanks for the review!

Yeah, that is a totally believable ending to the story of Dwight. I wonder how many cats he saved, too. ;-)
You've converted me to your deathfic, larry. :)
Author's Response:
Knowing Dwight, he probably tried to use a cat to put the fire out.
Glad I converted you! Thanks for the review.

I loved this, it was so beautiful. The last line was a lovely subtle connection to what Ryan said in 'The Secret'. Whether intentional or not, I found it wonderful. I would much rather remember seasons 1, 2 and (parts of) 3 Ryan than this new season 4 Ryan.
Anyhoo, great job!
Author's Response: It was intentional, and I'm glad you caught that. I think Ryan's going to eventually regret his current behavior. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for the review!

Aww. Tragically fitting for Ryan. Another excellent chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it.

Question: They all seem to die kind of sad and/or in violent ways.
IS Dunder Mifflin cursed?
Author's Response:
Well I try to make it somewhat upbeat. But yeah, they probably are cursed. Time to call in Zelda Rubinstein.
Thanks for the comment!

...and he didn't either. ;)
Good job! Is it morbid I like seeing all of them die?
Author's Response:
We all knew you were twisted, DM!
Just kidding! Thanks for the comment!

Toby did hard drugs? Oh my. Poor, poor Toby.
Author's Response: That was based on his Amsterdam comment in Dwight's Speech.
Date: October 14, 2007 11:29 am Title: Smile
Aw so touching. I can see sad depressed lonely Toby doing hard drugs, is that weird?
Author's Response: Not at all! He got plenty of practice in Amsterdam.

Oh! *wipes away tears* So sweet! So very Toby. Another absolutely fantastic chapter!

Wow. Random killer, or David Wallace? No... Kendall!!
Author's Response:
Just a random killer, but your other options could be good inspiration for a separate fic!
