This has got to be one of my favorite fics ever, if not my number one. I can't even express how wild a ride you just gave me, this is EXACTLY my cup of -poured through a teal teapot full of memories- tea, and I can't thank you enough for writing it. Wow. I'm just.... so awestruck right now I can't write a bloody review. Thank you SO DAMN MUCH for this gem!

Well this is delightful. I can see why it's technically unfinished (you owe us another hour! Just kidding) but you did get to the key point. And it is a really amazing combination of completely original material and references to the show. Wonderful work.

you are definitely not shunned. in fact this chapter was my new favorite. they are steadily getting better in my opinion, nice job with that.
i'm so glad you got pam to be serious and tell the truth to jim for once. seriously make a decision about HER life, and figure out if roy is really the right person for her. and all in one day. without futher ado... the next chapter...

i just wanted to stop for a minute and tell you how great this chapter was. i think it was a definite sign that although jim and pam can act like little kids, they know how to be serious. and as pam put it 'act like adults' - a key to success if they want to start a relationship.
and then when pam said that jim was right, and that she was a doormat, and something about roy not being the best thing for her, i was on the edge of my seat! i can't wait to see how this plays out.
great job, this story is truly amazing, and i've had a lot of fun reading it... so far! i still have a bit of a ways to go, and i'm so glad that you are showing us a full 24 hours with them!

I'm so happy you updated this! You're wrapping the story up perfectly. I loved Roy's non-response and how it ticked Pam off so thoroughly that she realized it was over.
I'm too tired to leave a coherent review but I will say that I plan to re-read this in the next few days ... from the BEGINNING ... and enjoy the whole ride again.

My dear, dear Swiff. How fantastic is it to see an update to this story? Reminds me of the "good old days" when we would write and post with abandon and then sit back and revel in the heady elixir of reviews.
Wow, wouldn't it be funny if I really talked like that? All full of pretension and snobbery? :D
Seriously, it does my heart so much good to see that you're this close to bursting the tape on this one. And this chapter was fabulous in so many ways. Even after all that's happened on the show itself, and the ways in which the characters have evolved and changed, you've still managed to maintain that classic barely-post-casino-night angst and uncertainty that they had at this point. The dialogue rang true, and there were some genuinely sweet and tender moments.
You're an inspiration to the rest of us who have allowed their own unfinished stories to wither on the vine. (Okay, me, anyway. :D)
