Author's Response: Thanks! Dwight can be tricky... I try to remember that, although he can be a tremendous ass at times, Dwight can actually be a sympathetic, curious person. He's fun to write, though, he really is.

YES! it is always sweet to see Toby one-up Michael! i know that's horrible... wait. no. Michael is horrible to Toby, so he totally deserves it. I love Toby, and I'm glad you included him in your wonderful series of Cold Opens :) great chapter!!!
Author's Response: Thanks! Initially, this was gonna be more of just Pam and Toby but I needed to have Toby win. I love his whole deal with Pam, unrequited love is always fascinating, but I needed him to end up on top for a change. Wait... that needs rephrasing... lol... thanks!

ok. i laughed SO HARD after i read this. first of all, german chocolate! ha! i would also like to know how Pam feels about cannibalism. can't you just imagine the look on her face? hehe. and last but not least, i am a giant star wars fan (i know, i know...) and the Ewoks? OH MY GOSH! i seriously laughed and snorted for like 5 minutes. so funny. I am really enjoying this!

It's funny how every cold open involves Dwight and Jim. These are, of course, my favorite ones anyway, because they tend to bring the most humor. I love Dwight's reaction to the method: "Nice. Very efficient." I could totally see him saying that.
Also: I enjoy writing humorous stories, and I always think, if you can't make yourself laugh, how are you going to make your readers laugh?
Author's Response: Yeah, I was thinking of diversifying it a bit and trying to get others involved, not just the main characters. And I do laugh at the dopiness I dream up sometimes.. but I find that people laugh at unexpected things sometimes. Thanks for the review!
