This story just gets better & better!! You have a real gift for writing, GodInThisChilis. Such great character & plot development. I'll be very sad when the last chapter is posted!

DUDE. That's depressing. And I still love it.

UNKNOWN USER... Oh no. That killed me a little bit. Poor Pam. Pam and Jim being mad at each other brings back those sad season 3 episodes, and it bums me out a bit. I am sure you will make it up to us soon enough. ;) I enjoyed this different format and it was nice to see the Dunder Mifflinites regain a bit of control after being manipulated by the production team.

No such user?!?! WTF, GITC!!!!
Wow, what a chapter -- talk about bombshells! Holy smokes! I'm happy to see that Pam recognizes what she got out of being under the watchful eye of the camera did for her.

Another great chapter! You did such a great job telling this whole chapter through e-mails, while making it flow really well and not making it feel like a bunch of e-mails, if that makes sense!
That last one killed me, though! Gaaah!
Can't wait for more!

Oh, man...
Not my favorite chapter, just because it strayed from the normal content/style of previous chapters (with the emails, and then with no JAM interaction or SG-TJ interaction) but I can see how you felt it needed to be in the story. It was good and informative. I can only hope Team Jim does show up in the chatroom tomorrow night!!

OK, you delurked me with this story. Count me as one who registered just to review. I love this; the voices are so authentic. It's very dramatic but at the same time, I can totally see this scenario taking place, if Jim and Pam were real and The Office was indeed a documentary and not a mockumentary.
That Jim closed his email account tells me that he has put up 1,000 more walls to block Pam out than he even had at the beginning of this story. Somehow, though, you are able to convey that all these walls are made of those cardboard bricks kids play with. I can sense so clearly through your writing that they would all come tumbling down quickly, in the right circumstance.
Update soon??? I hope???
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I really appreciate that you registered to review this. What would our boy Jim be without his walls? You are right though about them being pretty easy to push over. Hopefully the right circumstances will come along soon. Thanks again for your review.

A part of me just died a little bit. But way to keep it interesting! (And keep Jim a jerk. That jerk!)

:( :( :( :( Please tell me there's a silver lining coming? I really like the structure of this chapter and I love all the details of The Office trying to make themselves boring. Of COURSE Angela would have a mic basket!

so sad!
my heart ached in this chapter!
fast forward...everyone's happy

Okay, I'm satisfied with how the whole crew involved in their lives angle turned out....and IMHO Jim's being a dick...
waiting on pins and needles for the next chapter, and I have to say you really do an amazing job telling a story in such unconventional ways...yeah Jim is totally being dick right now....
:-D

Oh, the emails kill me and I liked that Toby and Oscar are leading the revolt.
I have to say that the last bit was a like a sucker punch and it's not even happening to me. I can't wait to see how this all ties up!

gah. Jim leaving? His e-mail doesn't work?
I love this chapter b/c it truly makes it seem that if the office characters were real life documentary what would be happening. people would be mad and frustrated if their lives were being exploited like this.
I know it's obvious that I want mroe..... but it still makes me excited every time I get an e-mail saying there's a new OE. I'm so intrigued by this! can't wait to see how ti allpans out. *awaits patiently*

i love, love, LOVE this story! it makes my day a little brighter when i come home and see that it's updated! it's such a nice break from reality! i'm going to be sad when it ends. i also love that ted is from austin (my hometown) and is a professor at UT (where i go to school)! our email addresses are @mail.utexas.edu though.. or professors are @ their speciality.utexas.edu.. haha not to be nitpicky, no way you could have known that, just wanted to feel like i knew something for once! :D anyway, love it! keep it up! and update soon! :)

I stayed up late tonight in hopes you'd post another chapter, and you did!!! Love it, truly. I don't want it to end!

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!
I should prod you more on the message boards if this is what I get in return. Well done, well done, I loved every minute of it! I especially loved this: "I think Kelly and Ryan have broken up (or maybe they are getting married, I’m not sure)and Creed says it’s time for him to go underground again (whatever that means)."
SO on target and hilarious.
And then there's the lovely emotional aspect of this chapter. The "unknown_user" email slays me, but I know you're setting me up for something big, and I can't wait for the big finale. I'm thinking fireworks, Sinatra, champagne, a kiss in the rain, and Fancy New Beesly in a fancy new dress. Actually, I think I just described ten different Audrey Hepburn movies, so you know what? I'll leave the genius storytelling to you, m'dear!
Can't wait for more!! --CH

you. are. killing. me. in the best possible way. The way that makes me use full stops in an entirely grammatically incorrect way just to try and convey my feelings. It's late and my roommate is alseep and I had to literally bite my lip to stop myself saying something out loud at the end.
This chapter is wonderful and completely in character for all those featured which I'm sure must have been difficult given how many people crop up.
Fantastic :)

Author's Response: Don't run into anything! I'm so glad you liked this. Thanks for your review.

I just found this and powered through all 18 chapters this afternoon (when I really should have been studying but oh, well). I intended to leave a review after every chapter, I really did, but at the end I literally could not stop, I just had to keep reading. This is simply fantastic, a wonderful idea brilliantly explored. I often say things out loud when I'm watching the show (generally 'Oh Jim') and this is one of few fics I've found having the same effect. I really can't wait for more :)
Author's Response: Wow. You don't know how reviews like this make me feel. Thank you so much and I'm so glad that you are enjoying it. Now...go study! (I teach 8th grade so that's kind of ingrained in me) Thanks again!

That was amazing! I really love when Jim loses control and lets himself feel. Ted such an awesome original character too. Gah, I just loved this and I can't be articulate like I would like. More please!

AAAAAAAAAH!!! I really love this story, and I am jealous that you can write the IM/Chat stories because I've always wanted to, but I am horrible at it. My mind doesn't think fast enough, I think... Or maybe it thinks too fast, I'm not quite sure. I love reading them, I just can't write them (if you know any other good ones besides McPants, let me know!) I think your story is brilliant and it seriously makes me giddy everytime I see it updated. Keep up the good work, and I mean, keep it up SOON!
