My baby is eight months old now, so I was in that foggy hormonal new pregnancy stage not that long ago. You nailed it exactly. And how swee thty are together. *sigh*

I'm in tears at my desk at work. Now, it's possible that may be partly due to the pregnancy hormones. But I think it's largely due to the awesomeness of this story. Wow. That, right there, is some top notch, absolutely SPOT ON writing about the insanity and bizarreness of being pregnant. Hooboy.

This was beautiful. At first I thought it was going to be a little silly, but the end? So cute. And perfect.
The best response to this challenge that I've read so far. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, this was an amazing story. Mostly, it was hilarious. Especially the part where Pam turned 4 because of hormones.
But it was also poetic. =]
Author's Response: Thank you!

“… because it’s hard to go telling someone you’re pregnant if they’re having a conversation with themselves…”
ahahahaha that was perfect :]
Author's Response: Thank you so much!

Oooh oooh ooh! I know whats going on!!!
Pam is obviously having a mental break with reality and IS going through puberty again (the rare double puberty... its not fun!)
It really is the only explaination!
Okay, I love the entire conversation, but i love this the most:
“Bingo, that one. I suggest that we shift focus to that.”
I told my parents there was no Santa. I thought they actually believed. I was so upset I had to be the one to break the news to them.
Author's Response: LOL! Yesss! You're the only one who understands ;) Aww but that's sad about your parents. Sometimes they can just be so naive, but they grow up so fast don't they? Thanks for reading!

Please continue! This story was amazing!
Author's Response: Thank you! I might consider continuing if I get the chance. I guess I'll have a lot of time on my hands, with the strike and all :(

Sweet and funny and warm. Love Jim's 'flip free' line and this: “I’m not freaking out because I know this is exactly where we should be” is especially apt - he's always known exactly where they should be, hasn't he? (Well, S3 emotional anarchy aside, that is.) I think he'd have that faith, despite being a little freaked out himself. Nice clean, evocative writing too - for instance: But then he kisses her, light and slow and like he could do it every day forever, which criss-crosses and cross-hatches her wiring so much that she starts to get a tad lightheaded. Lovely.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I think he has always had that sense deep down that they would be perfect together, that if everything else just stepped out of their way they could be happy. And now that's happened, I think he would be pretty sure it was the right thing. Thanks for reading!

Aw. This is totally how Jim finding out Pam is pregnant could go. I love dialogue filled stories, I always read them twice, once like a table read, and the next as the final shoot :)
I loved it!
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm so glad to hear that it warranted a second read :)

I liked this a lot. I liked that Pam was freaked out by the idea of being pregnant because it wasn't exactly what she had planned, and it's a scary thing to try to figure out on the spot. Glad to see Jim was supportive. I wouldn't have expected less from him.
Author's Response:
Yeah, I think that Jim spends a lot of his time in reaction to other people, so if Pam was freaking out he would absolutely be supportive. Thank you!

lady you totally knocked this out of the park! i love it. it's simple, the language is perfect, the voices are PERFECT. sigh. i wish you wrote a story every day...
Author's Response: I wish I could write everyday ;) Thanks for reading!

Jam!Babies are the best. THAT is why the writers strike will end -- so there can be Jam!Babies one day.
Her and Jim are head-over-heels, moon bouncing to the sky happy. Guh. So true. That's why we love them. Nicely done.
Author's Response: That IS why the writers strike will end... now we just have to brainwash the studios into becoming Jammers so they can understand the true importance of Jam babies ;) Thank you!

Oh this is perfect from beginning to end. From Pam flipping out about the baby ducks -- complete with sailor level profanity to the network to Michael's SPOT ON CLASSIC lines for why he is not available to speak with Jan -- to Jim's reaction to the baby news....just everything about this was fantastic.
Author's Response: Aww, thank you so much!

“I just… really? You’re not flipping out about this?”
“I am flip-free.”
Such a cute story! I love your way with words.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

That does it. You're going on my favorite author list. :)
I absolutely LOVE the way you write. It's so honest, so real, and yet so beautiful. (Not to mention hilarious--Pam's crying speech about the baby ducks KILLED me.)
Bravo and kudos to you!
Author's Response: YAY! That really means a lot because I've always loved YOUR writing. So, double yay! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

This is really cute. I love Pam in freak-out mode. We don't get much of that on the show. And it was so cute when Jim was all reassuring because of course he would be. The whole thing was just adorable.
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! I'd like to see Pam freak out on the show ;)

I looooooooooooooooooved it. Especially the bit where Jim and Pam are talking over each other. Ha. Great dialogue there. And then Jim's reaction after he stops freaking out, and Pam's smile. Squee!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I usually don't have much dialogue in my stuff, so it's good to hear that it worked out.

Fabulous story!
