I love Ingrid! I totally thought that song fit Jim and Pam. Great job!

I am here with the schooling (HA!) First of all, you need to rent or Netflix or whatever the heck 1977's "The Goodye Girl." It's good for your romantic comedy soul. http://imdb.com/title/tt0076095/
Second, without giving to much away, there are major plot points ivolving late night guitar serenades and courtship/coupledom. So that's what I thought it was!
Thanks again for the story!

Aww, I do love me some happy Pam. Always great to see you writing. I particularly enjoyed the Roy/Jim contrast in handling the bartender. Hope all is well w/ you

I'd like to serenade you with a cheesy theme song from a 70s movie...nobody does it better. I love your Pam the best out of all the Pams. She can be a smartass even in the sweetest moments.
Author's Response: Well...your night music is the prettiest of all the music. :-) Thanks Miss Sweetpea -- I know we both have an appreciation for the smartass side of Pam. You rock!

That was beautiful! I loved it.
I liked the references to Local Ad, with Pam's desire to support Jim as he supported her. Hopefully we'll see a defined character arc for Jim in the forthcoming episodes, (strike permitting).
Author's Response: Wow, from your lips to God's ears. I am not going to be able to bear this strike...especially with such a wonderful arc looming on the horizon! Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

what a nice segue into the rest of the song! (i love ingrid michaelson, too) and gasp...a reference to pollyanna!
Author's Response: Woot! Ingrid Michaelson! First off...let me just say that I smile so big everytime I see your screen name...it just makes me happy. Anyway, thanks so much for the feedback!!! Glad you enjoyed it.

i don't care how sweet and fluff it was it was so heartbreakingly perfect.
and even though i have said it about a million times, i want a jim. not pam's jim. because pam's jim is perfect for her and they will figure out who they are together. but i want an emily's jim. a jim just for me!
Author's Response: Oh EmilyHalpert I am RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!!! Who doesn't want their very own Jim! I have been saying that since season 1. Maybe one day I'll find my own Jim... <Pam>. Thanks for being such a loyal reader and feedback(er).

Why do I find middle of the night convos between these two so IT? So intimate and affirming. Love the idea of Jim waiting up to see her assignment completed; and damn right she'll support him too. I don't care how fluffy this is - you always get it right. (And in a great minds moment - the update I'm working on also takes place in the dead of night. Must be contagious ;-)
Author's Response: Ok, my curiosity is way piqued! I can't wait to see what you've written...I know we both have a real big thing for Jim/Pam + mundane everyday moments. I could live on that...I don't even need plot really. Easy to please. Thanks so much for the awesome feedback Colette!

Goodbye Girl reference! Rock on! At least I hope it is. Anyway, it is indeed fluff but good fluff!
Author's Response: Aw man, Crystalized I almost hate to cop to this because you were so excited and I LOVE when people say Rock on...but alas, I didn't not mean it as a goodbye girl reference...in fact -- I don't even know the reference you are referring to....ugh, I'm feeling so sad! lol. Anyway, let me know which reference you are referring to! School me. Thanks so much for the feedback!!!

Eeeee! Sorry, I just had to get that out. This is probably exactly what Pam is thinking, now that she's headed in her right direction, she doesn't want him to just be tugged along for the ride. Excellent story!
P.S. God I love that song!
Author's Response: whoohoo! So glad so many people love that song...it's the greatest. I can't imagine that Pam isn't thinking this new relationship is perfection...especially in comparison to her last one! lol. Thanks so much bebitched!

Cliche or not, the completeness Pam feels in Jim's love is a special gift. You've captured this moment of introspective gratitude wonderfully lovefool. One of my favourite songs too. Words and melody compliment one another perfectly...just like Jim and Pam.
Author's Response: Thanks Jinx! How could one NOT be inspired by that song, right? I think Jim and Pam are like the perfect melody and words as well...thanks so much for the feedback!

"She never wanted him to feel anything less than everything he was helping her to feel." Great line. Sweet story!
Author's Response: Thank you Kaystar! That was a line added at the very last minute, so I'm glad I put in there now! Thanks a bunch!
