Niiiiiice ;) Loving this one.
Author's Response: Ahh, thank you. Incidentally, I've started saying "Niiiiice" regarding everything. Kevin is rubbing off on me.

Oh, Pam. She breaks my heart.
Author's Response: She does, doesn't she? Jenna is amazing - she expresses so much non-verbally, and makes it eloquent! What a talent.

Eroticism in wheat? I will admit that made me giggle! This was such a lovely piece as always. :)
Author's Response: First, thank you very much for the "as always." Now, I realize that wheat isn't erotic, but Pam is repressed and missing her soul mate and (really?) probably very horny. So if anyone could accomplish it, she could. (Maybe she put nipples on the wheat? I can't believe I just typed that!)

Tee hee. I'm trying to picture erotic wheat and just...failing. But if it reminded me of Jim...well, that's different. ;-)
Author's Response: DUDE! You totally called my bluff! I couldn't picture erotic wheat either, but that's what came to me, so I wrote it. But anything Jim inspired it hot!

This was great--something between sweet, hot & adorable. Loved it!
Author's Response: Thanks! Sweet, hot and adorable - that is them in a nutshell.

This is BRILLIANT!!! Keep up the amazing work!
Author's Response: Woah, Brilliant? Thanks a lot, but now I feel all this pressure. Do me a favor? Read anything I write late at night, or after some very responsible consumption of alcohol. : )

Oh, wait till Nomadshan reads this! Jim's eyebrows as obsession!
Terrific!
Author's Response: Thank you - I'm a bit concerned about myself...I think I'm a little obsessed with all things Jim at the moment, especially the arms - mmmm.

It is great that most of their connection in this piece is unspoken. I can imagine their looks and touch. Wonderful!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. Didn't Jenna say something about the most important things between Pam and Jim being unspoken?

The Roy situation was handled so well - you managed to convey all the emotions that Roy was going through with so few words. And I totally loved your line that she was almost out of the car before it stopped moving and he was running out of his house before her car door even closed. That was so romantic and just how I would expect to see it happen IRL. Awesome story.
Author's Response: Aww, thank you. I can't help it, I just want them together already!

What a beautiful story. I especially loved this line - "She told her last best friend about her first best friend just once, to explain her sadness on the sixth anniversary"
Author's Response: Thank you. I can't tell you how nice specific reviews are.

Incredible. Such a unique take on them, this. Just beautiful, really - you are an incredible writer.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much. I'm a fan of yours, so that means a lot.

My god, this was beautiful. I stopped breathing at the laying her first best friend to rest line, then exhaled so loudly after the last sentence. WOW.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed and appreciated it. I was kind of nervous about the subject matter.

This is poetry - just absolute poetry. Incredible.
Author's Response: Thak you so much. I truly appreciate that.

I want you to know that I read this entire chapter with my mouth hanging open - literally. This is astonishingly good.
Author's Response: Thank you girl7. I must warn you though, if you keep leaving me reviews like this, I may never stop writing. Seriously though, I truly appreciate your kind words.

I very much love this. Pam and Jim are the ultimate partners in crime, and it seems so true that being in love would hit him like a bolt of lightning. Wonderful job!
Author's Response: I very much thank you.

I love that fanfic has created a million and one ways that Jim knows he loves Pam- at first sight, slowly but surely, etc.- but this is one of my favorites. He's halfway there and then gets hit with it. Lovely in tone and style. As usual!
Author's Response: Thank you, and the "as usual" makes me feel great. ; )

So sweet, and so Jim. He really is a huge sap, but we love that about him.
Author's Response: Absolutely. He is divine.

I love the contrast between how she'll feel if she loses them. Excellent!
Author's Response: Thank you. I figure if she ever thought about it like that, she'd feel something similar.

Wow that chapter was intense but oh so good.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. I appreciate the review.

Seriously. How'd I miss this????
I adore what you've done here. I love these little drabbles. More. Please. Soon. :)
Author's Response: How did you miss it?.....Did you blink? It's fairly small. Thanks for the review and encouragment.

It doesn't feel clunky to me, but I may be biased because I love the content so much! Poor Jim, trying not to hope; poor Roy, begging. Still, so much goodness!
Author's Response: Thank you and thank you. I really don't think Roy is a bad guy, but I still have a hard time feeling really bad for him. He totally takes her for granted. I can't stand it!
Date: September 07, 2006 03:43 am Title: When She Knows
"People pray for what's being handed to her in a gift-wrapped package." - so true, and thanks for making Pam realise it.
Author's Response: Absolutely! Who doesn't want a Jim? Thank you.

So sweet, and very true to the show, I think. She won't decide (if she does) till the last second, or near.
Author's Response:
Thank you, "true to the show" is a great compliment. As for her not deciding until the last minute - anything to keep us watching.

It's not clunky at all. A lot of people are really put off by the idea that Pam dumps Roy, and runs into Jim's arms. But isn't that how Dawn and Tim did it? I mean, if you love someone that much, why waste anymore time? Very well done. I still can't believe this is "drabble." And with some of the other fics that are out there, this is refreshing.
Author's Response: I really, really appreciate the reveiw and compliment. And yes, that is exactly how Dawn and Tim did it. Besides, Pam and Roy haven't been an "actual couple" in a very long time. Also, when it's true love, it's not rebound.

Perfect.
That's all I can say.
Author's Response: Wow. Perfect? That's a fairly huge compliment...Thank you.
