Okay, tag in the snow. I love playing Tag. I love the snow. I don't see anything wrong and I am totally up for that game!
Oh and Drunk!Pam is one of my favorite Pams!
I agree, this isn't quote fluff, isn't angst. Its that awkward inbetween. (and awkward isn't meaning the writing).
This was dead on what I could picture happening in a half drunken game of snow tag.
I was like, holding my breath waiting to see if he would kiss her.
And then this:
Feigning nonchalance, though fully appreciating the subtext of his words he said “You’re it, you know”
Wow. Just. Wow. No words.

This was such a perfect capture of pre-S1 Jam, how they keep themselves guarded from each other but once and a while there's a moment when it all slips through. Great job!

:(Poor Jim! But cute fic. I didn't realize it was set in the past so I assumed it would end with Jim and Pam finding some excuse to go make out in the bushes, but this way was awesome, too :) Pining Jim makes my heart ache.
