Its sad when the DM antics before normal.
Michael and Jan with twins...almost named after Dwight. That is so great. And sligthly (more than slightly) disturbing!
There are so many great things about your little catch up to the present day that are great, but I won't quote them all. But all so small, but realistic and good!
Hmm, molten chocolate cake or engagement ring? I don't know, that is a toug choice. I don't care if I just ate breakfast, that cake is sounding yummy right about now.
You like the name Sara don't you. You used it in the short story and in here. I approve.
I knew that they weren't going to be together, but I still love it. I love how you worked with that idea, which I have been wanting to see done for months and months now. It was so wonderful, and it was obvious, but it wasn't, and I am really not with the words right now (when am I ever), so just mad props for you doing a great job!

as much as i hate people writing about pam and jim not ending up together, i loved this. (: great job ! and i think that you SHOULD write more chapters (:
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I'm glad that it's not totally hated. :)

You are evil. In what interview did Jenna give you this idea? DAMN HER!! I'm gonna have to leave a nasty comment on her myspace.
SOOOO just kidding! Imean, you're definitely evil, but it was so well-done, and well-thought out (you can NEVER overthink your own fiction. especially when it's Office fanfic!), that I still loved it. Was DEFINITELY thrown for a loop when I got to the whole last name part, even though I got a hint of what had happened when I read "Aunt Pam." My only issue? If I were Sara, there's no way in hell I'd stand my Jim still being so buddy-buddy with Pam. But that's just because if I had Jim, I wouldn't share him with anyone! *muttering* Yes... Lock him in a cage, feed him, hid him from the world. my own little pet... mwahahahahaha!!
(Um, I probably shouldn't be reviewing at 3 am.. sorry you had to read this..)
Author's Response:
LOL! :D Here's the interview: http://www.collider.com/entertainment/interviews/article.asp/aid/6374/tcid/1/pg/2 (About 2/3 down on the page)
Chris is actually Pam's godson. Sara likes Pam and she's totally fine with Jim and Pam being friends because she know that Jim is happily married to her and because Pam became a close friend to Sara. (Yeah, overthinking... ;)
Go get some sleep, StarShine! :P

this totally threw me. I usually go into it thinking that they will end up together-- but I have to admit, I really liked the idea that they could still be friends, even after all that they have been through. It says something really nice about people and how genuine they can be.
I dunno, but I really, really liked this. Well-written and planned with the timeline and all! :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! :)

Two problems, 1) Why did Darryl have to die? That was so sad!, and 2) For a hard core Jammer, such as myself, it sucked that Jim and Pam weren't together in the end. But, aside from those tiny things, awsome story, I really liked it. And yes, maybe you did think it out a bit too much, but how else was it supposed to be so good? :D
Author's Response:
To answer your first question, I don't know why but I felt like I needed to kill someone off and Darryl was the only one that I couldn't really think of a story for. Heh... To answer the second question, as long as they are kept together on the show, I'll play with them in different situations. :D I tend to overthink timelines... ;)
Thanks for reading and commenting!

Sora! I thought it was their wedding! Aaarrrgghh! And, really, who cares what Jenna says. She doesn't write the show and we know who has the final say on all things JAM. And we know how much of a 'shipper he is. So there.
Just kiddin' with ya dear. You wrote a good story there.
Author's Response: Whee! I messed around with another person's head! LOL. :D Thanks for reading, EH!

I seriously feel like I've been punched in the gut. Seriously! I was so happy as I read this because Silver Spring, MD is just over the Potomac from where I live and I think there's only been 1 other fic based in the DC area and then I was happy because we were being brought up to date on everyone and then I read "I didn't date Toby! I just needed a date to your freaking wedding and he took it the wrong way!" Pam scoffed." and my heart fell into my feet.
(And what is up with don't blame me, blame Jenna. Has she said something lately that I missed?)
But it was a nicely written story even if I didn't like the outcome.
Author's Response:
LOL. I live in DC so that's why I chose Silver Springs. Heh...
Jenna, in a recent interview, talked about how cool it would be if Jim and Pam weren't meant for each other but that they led each other to who they were meant to be with. :D So yeah... I just ran with it.
Thanks for read.

Yes, I did notice the extra stuff, and it did add to more clarity. Not that I believe for a minute Jim and Pam wouldn't have worked out. Evil woman. :-P
Author's Response:
Heh... I could have done much, much worse. Like had Jim cheat on Pam with Sara or something. :P
Remember... Blame Jenna! :D

Is there something in the water today? Every story I read is about how Jim and Pam don't end up together. This was very cute but I'm not going to lie I get very sad when it's not a happy JAM ending.
Author's Response: Heh... maybe we're so wanting this strike to be over that we'll play every angle. ;)

Usually, when I read a story where Jim/Pam don't end up together, I just hate it, but this one? This one I kind of love.
I like that it's not at all angsty and they both end up with a happy ever after.
If for some reason the writers rip my little heart apart and break Jim and Pam up, I hope the end of the series reads a little something like this.
Author's Response: Thanks! :D I think that Jenna was right on one point in her craziness and that was that if they didn't end up together, that they would be happy for each other.

You pulled the rug out from under me, Sorano! Really well written, but it made me sad. I envision Jim and Pam getting married and growing old together. Can't help it!
Author's Response: Heh... rug-pulling, score! LOL. Thanks for the review.

my comment: Waaaaaah!!!!
I wished this sucked so I could tear it apart, purely for spite. But I can't. so damn you.
(now isn't that the best review you've ever received?!) ;-)
Author's Response: Let me check... Yup, best review. ;) I added a little bit more than the original that I had sent you. Heh...
