Now, this is the height of irony - by these standards, his breakup with Karen is actually conducted with relative decency.
I guess he'll never really learn.

Oh, Jim. He's still my boy... but this feels remarkably in character for a guy we're supposed to like.

That was really extremely good. :)
I really love the title of chapter 3. Hahah. And the ending is great.

I loved everything about this story. It was extremely clever of you to write a backstory for Jim who, as we've seen on the show, broke up with two different women in two terrible ways. It's hard to pick which was the worst case because all were very horrible for the girls that Jim broke up with. But probably the one where he accidentally cheated on the girl.
The ending was so perfect, Jim and Pam happy with their daughter and of course, the happily ever after. Excellent job!

Okay, so this whole thing was so great, so Jim, so realistic. And this last chapter was absolute perfection. Everything about it. Everything.
Amazing, amazing work!

AWWWWWW! Adorable ending. This was a great concept for a story, and I really enjoyed it.

I registered at this site (which I've been reading enthusiastically for at least 6 months) just so I could tell you how much I loved this story. I don't think this Jim is a jackasass-- I think he's utterly human. The last two chapters are perfect, and as someone who always rooted for JAM but never hated Karen, I think this is the best version of Jim breaking up with Karen I've yet read. its certainly the only one that's made me feel like I need to tell the author how great it is. thanks for this story, and please keep writing!
Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much!

Very nicely done. As long as he stays with Pam I don't care how he broke up with the others.:)
Author's Response: Thanks for reading!

This was great...each part was really apt, but I especially liked the Brenda one (I liked that he was self-aware enough to be embarrassed by his motives and how half-assed he was) and the Karen break-up scene was pretty much exactly how I imagined it happening. Lovely epilogue too...very clever.

Aww! I love how you worked in how Jim doesn't want a guy just like him for his little girl. He just needed the right girl.
Now that he does have the right girl, we need to get back to that dammit! Will April 10th just get here already?

Oh yowsa, it does get worse for Jim. How do you do it?

Be still my heat, twice in one night? Bless you. I completely forgot Brenda. Jim has a nasty habit of running into ex's awkwardly, doesn't he. Can't wait to read about the next one to get the ax. Love this story. Love short fragment sentences, too, apparently.

Oh, Jim, you just keep digging yourself in deeper and deeper, don't you? Good thing you won't have to do that 'breaking up' thing anymore after Karen.

That last part is AWESOME. "He isn't that guy, the boat guy, is he?"
Awesome, awkward--just great.

Lol, the ending killed me. I adore your Jim, crappy breaker upper and all. Oh man, I'm still laughing.

Oh God, Jim. Worst mistake ever. You've got a really good story. It's so interesting to see how Jim might have handled other relationships.

Just seeing the title of part 3 made me laugh. Bwa ha ha ha.

Great story. I feel really bad for Jim in some respects his luck with the ladies is just bad.
But you do make him seem just like a regular guy. Not some douche bag or sissy, just a guy who goes through life and sometimes makes mistakes.
The last chapter saying the wrong name was brilliant. It happened to me (I was the 'Jim' in the situation).
Can't wait for more

I'm really enjoying these. It's a cool concept-- because it shows the side of Jim that still needs a little work :) Great job, I look forward to more!

Idiot. You're not supposed to tell! (Well, you brag to your friends but that's different)
