Not only is the title wonderful, but the story itself is so great. I love the little moments between Jim and Pam and really enjoyed the little Halpert's family history. The way you wrote the landscape was so vivid that I could almost imagined it in my mind. There's just something so beautiful and magical about a quiet night and the land covered in moonlight. Great, great job!
Author's Response: How'd you get to be so awesome? :D Thanks a bunch for your sweet review. I really appreciate it. :D

This was sweet. I've been going through some of the archive fics and ran across this. Brought a smile to my face, I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing it!
Author's Response: Wow, I was pleasantly surprised to get this review today, as it's been a while since I wrote this story. Thanks so much for your kind review. :-)

The back story that you wrote for the character that you created was very believable and fit the story very well. Good call on Jim's reaction to being caught howling. Very nice imagery.
Author's Response: Gosh, I feel like I've just won the lottery. I feel so honored that I am the recepient of your first review. :D I really enjoyed seeing where this story took me. You know I love my JAM, but Jakob and Marike were a nice bonus too.
Thanks again, Tobes for your sweet review!

Yay! I get to read this! Okay, technically, I already read it. But if its not online, it doesn't count. Plus, this time my dog is reading it. She really likes where my bed is now, and so, she really believes its her bed, and therefore, is lying right beside me (slowly pushing me off the bed.)
Its such a pretty image, full moon, newfallen snow.... its like just this perfect winter scene.
I would love to walk around at night. I can't here (mom would wake and freak out), and at college... well, walking around at dark was kind of ruined with the arm robberies right outside my dorm. So, walking occurs in broad daylight here. Although, walking in rain is also totally enjoyable, but more often for sad reflective time.
Jim is just too cute. And the fact he is a noisy sleeper makes me love him even more. :D
I am still amazed that anyone could like the cold! Its supposed to be cold out here today - 30, windchil to the teens. Craziness!
I really like saying the name Esperanza. *repeats to herself Esperanza, Esperanza,Esperanza*
I feel so sorry for Jim waking up alone. Its just sticking in my mind and its all sorts of sad. Poor Jim. That would wake you up. You need your Pam.
"I had a little bird, its name was Enza, I opened up the window and in flew enza" ah, nerd camp!
God, Jim does just sound handsome there. So amazing. Its just this perfect little scene.
I so love this story. Its just so happy and sweet and perfect and funny and awesome all rolled into one!
Author's Response: Aw, hello Miss Emily and her doggy! You two share that bed, y'hear? :D
Thanks again for your help with this Miss Emily. You are the best unsuspecting beta ever. I just kept sending you peeks at what I had written and you very kindly helped with your awesomeness. Because that's just what you do. :D Thanks, sweetie!

Oh Susan, this was just plain wonderful. It's a very sweet story.
Why don't you write more often, you dork?
Author's Response: Because I'm just dorky, you dork. :-P Thanks for reading. I know you're a super busy dorky dude. :D

This was beautiful. I loved reading about Jakob and Marike ("As he chewed, he thought about how long he had waited for Marike, and now looking at her, he could see his whole future shining in front of him. He felt like the luckiest man in world.") and I loved that Jim now knew that every word of the story was true. Just beautiful.
Author's Response: What a sweet review, thank you so much! I had a lot of fun with Jakob and Marike. Thanks again!. :D

Oh, susanita! Why oh why don't you write more? This was just so beautiful! I could picture every bit of light and how the snow looked and Pam's image in the moonlight. Such a sweet and funny moment between them! Howling at the moon? Maybe the best Pam and Jim image ever!
Author's Response: Aw, Sweetpea! How'd you get to be so awesome?! You are such an amazing writer with such great stories. Thank you so much for your kind comments, they mean a lot to this old gal. ::huggles::

That's funny that you mentioned Frank Capra! For some reason I have had a scene from "It's a Wonderful Life" running through my head lately. The scene where Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed are supposed to be talking on the phone to a guy she's sort of involved with (or at least her mother wants her to be involved with) but they get closer and closer to one another and eventually kiss. I don't know why it's stuck in my head. And, unless I'm mistaken they sing to the moon or about the moon in that movie, too. Your story is really nice and really sweet, I loved it!
Author's Response: Hee-haw! Yes! "It's a Wonderful Life" is such a great movie, and they do sing "Buffalo Gals" with that awesome lyric: "...and dance by the light of the moon." George and Mary paved the way for awesome romantic couples like our Jim and Pam.
Frank Capra gets a lot of grief for writing such fluffy cornball movies, but I adore them.
Thanks a bunch for reading and for your kind review. :-D

That's lovely, susanita! You should write more often. ;)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks, Kev! The show and awesome fic writers like you have been doing such a good job of satisfying my wish fulfillment, that I haven't felt the need to write, but this strike has given me the itch again. :D Thanks for reading!

Ok, you win at life because, come on, Jim and Pam howling at the moon? You can't top that. ^_^
Author's Response: Hee! Thanks, StarShine, for that dawesome review. They are such an adorkable couple. I miss them a bunch. :-/

Oh what a romantic little ficlet! Especially the back story with Jim's family. =)
Author's Response: Thank you! Originally that backstory about Jim's family was supposed to be condensed into about one paragraph, but once it got going, Jakob and Marike had a bit more to say. :D I'm glad you liked it.

This was just the sort of fluff I get on this site for. Good job.
Author's Response: What a kind thing to say. :-) Thanks so much for reading!
