Author's Response: I am not a prankster, at all. Jim rarely does pranks in my fic because I could never think of any. But this one seemed to flow organically from his character. I'm glad they got the more traditional, romantic proposal, but I think something like this would have worked well. Thank you, and happy early (late?) Valentine's Day!

How'd I miss this? This story is impeccable timing...I so want our show back, and one of the things I'd most love to see is plots that involve their moms, sisters, whomever. Also, I've felt so cheated by missing their first Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, Columbus Day ;-)...so this really hit the spot. Thanks for that.

Ok I have LOVED The Office since the British version was on TV, how have I just now found this website!! Then to top that off this is the first story I've read and it's just too cute for words. I'm speechless. This would be a perfect way for Jim to propose. Even though this was short it had so much story and meaning behind it. Thanks for posting it!! :)
