I love this series; I think they do a great job of integrating the deleted scenes into the characters as we know them while still extending the characters in interesting directions. I'm sad about the chapter notes to the last one though ("This will obviously have a part II, because I haven't even gotten to the date yet") because there is no part II.

This killed me dead, I can totally see him with Sasha like this and being all adorable and just GUH. I think I love you ;)

HOLY CRAP... Jim crying would kill me dead, the one tear in Casino Night made me want to jump off of a cliff lol

I've always loved fanfics that deal with Jim's talking head as there is just so much potential for great writing and I think this is the best portrayal of the deleted scene I have ever read- even though we have yet to even start the fateful date. Please please finish it!!!!!!!!!

So much fun! I am really a sucker for your behind the deleted/real scenes stuff. You really know how to hit them out of the ball park. You take what's given in just seconds and make this fantastic, woven tale from it. Loved it!!!

sigh. So sweet. I'm so loving this series. I loved the last chapter when Jim & Pam were playing house with Sasha, and I loved that you skipped to the future where they make up for those lost moments. le sigh......

Ahhh... angst. I love it. You always cease to amaze me with your descriptions of their emotions. I'd love to comment more... but there's more to read!!!!!! (off to chapter 2)

I love these "how they met" stories! You really captured their voices. I can see all of it happening. Can't wait for the next chapter!

What a great first meeting - I know this will be getting sad for Jim but I loved his enjoyment at how well the two of them get a long.

Aw, I bet that that's pretty much how it went on her first day. Her thinking up a prank, I mean. This continues to get more awesome with every installment. Looking forward to Part 2.

What a wonderful first meeting.

Awww, that was adorable! And we totally don't mind your long-winded-ness.
I love the beet salad! And Jim suggesting that the pine nuts be toasted--something about that just makes me smile.

Oh, poor Jim. And dumb Roy. And stupid Pam (not so stupid, here- not yet). Fantastic.

Ok, so I'm behind on my fanfic reading. But wow...combining all my favorites in this one, JAM flirting, Pam noticing how awesome Jim is, cute kids, Jim being adorable with said cute kid, and ending it with hot hands/forarms talk! It is as if you wrote it just for me!
Glad with the deleted scenes, you are able to make your series continue! With all the angst, its nice to have some fluff--never apologize for it! ;-)

I loved your explanation for 'a little'. Made my little shippy heart all warm and happy. I love that you're doing this series! Your long chapters and in-depth analysis' are always fun to read.

I love your version so much better. If only...

Whoa. Angsty, sweet AND hot. Loved it.

So good! I loved every word. Great job!!

Okay, who loves this chapter? I think you can fill in the rest.
And because you got my morning off to such a good start, I'll pass along a very SPOILERY tidbit I just stumbled upon, that I think you'll like: check out the Sunday NY Times 'Arts & Leisures' Section (yes, we get it in NY on Saturday, go figure.) See page 29, article about Ben Silverman, re: Cingular placement deal. Be prepared to squeal. (Wanted to share this, but I don't post on any boards, so....thought I'd let you do the honors, if it's not already out there.) Oh, and thanks again for another swell chapter!
Date: September 16, 2006 07:43 am Title: Chapter 3: The Carpet
Oh! This is sexy and sweet and yay! Starts off angsty, which makes the rest of it wonderful payoff.
Date: September 14, 2006 06:19 pm Title: Chapter 2: Sasha
"'Forearms….? I didn’t realize that that was a….thing that….women notice.'"
Guh. Jim really has no idea how hot forearms are.
...
Um, am I supposed to be reviewing a story here? I guess I lost my train of thought. This was just great; you wrote Sasha so well, especially when she asked Jim if Pam was his girlfriend. Kids always do notice whatever is unspoken between adults. I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Great story. You should definitly continue with another part. It will give me something to do for the next 7 days and 34 minutes.
Date: September 14, 2006 03:25 pm Title: Chapter 2: Sasha
What a sweet story! I think Sasha needs to hang out with Jim and Pam more often - she seems to bring out some of Pam's real feelings about Jim, and that is a good thing!
Date: September 14, 2006 01:03 pm Title: Chapter 2: Sasha
This was so cute! And sexy too, at the end. I think we can all agree that Jim has the best hands, wrists, and forearms ever. You should definitely make a second part.

Oh man, you've gotta love any Jim/small child fluff. Although I was slightly concerned to see this in the header: "(Let's see, what cute things can we make Jim do with a little girl?)" - I read that in an entirely different way ;) I adored all of the fluff. My only slight objection to the plot was Jim and Pam's extreme reactions to an innocuous fall. I have never reacted that strongly to seeing a child fall out of a swing, especially when they were left with no outside wounds. It seemed far too dramatic for the situation, though I did enjoy seeing Overprotective!Jim. That just distracted me a bit too much, though. Keep up the chapters, I am salivating for more of these great fics :D
