Ohh! I loved this. You set it well in the season story arc--right about the time that Jim was trying to pull back after such a crushing blow on the booze cruise. Poor Pam, to have to deny so fervently something that happens without the two of them even trying.
It's so in character, too. That last line just slays me.

You've captured something so wistful and bittersweet here. It's almost stunningly simple - who she is, who Roy is, who Jim is, and why Jim is better for her but why she hasn't made herself face it. I'm really, really impressed and moved by this.
