I'm just really enjoying this so far. Your characters make sense, if that makes any sense! Like someone else said before, it's a great premise, and I'll add that it's very fresh. I loved the Hopper quote. Such a nice touch.
Author's Response: Thank you very much, Annika. All your comments are very reassuring. I'm always nervous when I click that submit button. I'm glad the story is ringing true for you.

This is really well-written and believable. I'm quite enjoying :)
Author's Response: Thanks, deerinthepark! You can expect to see at least one chapter in the email … if you're willing to beta.

P.S. Sent you an e-mail so as not to monopolize your reviews. Hopefully your got it...
Author's Response: No ... No message from you. :-( Try again? I'll try to send one to you and then you can just reply if that one gets through.

Then let me just say that I really want you to finish Cardiac Care. It's one of my favorites, and you really left us hanging with that last chapter.
Thanks for writing, I really enjoy your stories.
Author's Response: Wow - a twofer review! Well, hank you for reading and leaving reviews. It's really nerve-wracking when you post a chapter and don't get much of a response.

I really enjoyed this...can't wait to see what Jim does. Are you sure it'll only be 2 chapters? There are so many possibilities here!
Author's Response:
Yeah, now that I'm thinking about it, this could go on for more chapters. But then I'd never finish Cardiac Care! Maybe I'll mark it finished after two chapters and come back to add on more later.
Thanks for your comments!

Oh please more! It's a lovely one shot but just leaves so much hanging that I'd love to see played out in your words. :)
Author's Response:
Thank you, dasani! It's not a one-shot anymore. I decided to post that little introductory section first. The second (bigger) part will come in a day or so. Still working it.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!

You really are a very talented writter. I was happy to see another story from you. I'm looking forward to Jims response.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words.

Very cool premise! I really liked the note from Pam; it seemed very much in character and a lot like I would hope Pam would sound a few years down the line after being away from Jim and on her own. Can't wait for the update!
Author's Response: Thanks, nandance! I'm glad you liked it.

The Hopper quote is fantastic. I think it summarizes Pam to a T. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Thank you! I thought of Pam as soon as I saw that quote. Glad you agree that it fits her.

VB!!!!!! I am so excited! First, (even though I am anxiously awaiting more Cardiac Care), you have posted a new story that has sucked me right in! Second, the gallery of which you speak is less than ten minutes from my home! Needless to say, I have a very clear picture in my head : ) Really looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response:
You are KIDDING me!! I just found that gallery with a web search and I really don't know anything about it! I was going to have her work in New Hope but that's an hour from Center City. Well, luckily, I am only going to make up stuff about their website (and I'll be upfront about that in the chapter notes), so I won't reproduce my Aussie slang debacle.
That is an amazing coincidence, though. My husband is from Mt. Laurel. Where do you live?

Hey VB! So glad to discover that you have been struck with a new idea and that you had the generosity of spirit to put pen to paper, so to speak. I love it and can't wait for part 2.BAx
Author's Response: I love your way with words, BA! ... generosity of spirit to put pen to paper ... Really, we could make money if we could sell an elixer that makes people feel the way you make me feel! Thanks.

Oh....please write more. I'm dying to know Jim's reaction to the picture.
Loved the quote.
Author's Response:
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, Pisa! I'm kinda liking the picture ... and Jim's reaction. I hope you will, too.

Oh this is so cool, VB. I love the idea. As much as I love Jim coming back to Pam from NY in The Job, I do love the angsty detours that fics like this take - separated for years but still think of one another, and then they make their way back. Love it. Can't wait for part two!
Author's Response: Thanks, kells! You've pretty much summarized my story ... you wanna do part two? Just kidding. Thanks for leaving a note!
