Wow. Great chapter, Mox. Really taut and tense - Jim's simmering anger and Pam's nervousness, then courage, then defeat, were so palpable. And you're still scaring me with how well you channel House. Really liking this.

Had to say my piece about this hugely entertaining story. I don't normally read stories where other shows' characters join in, but I tried it and I love it! This despite never having seen the TV show House. I find it extremely heady to read about Pam getting that second chance - I, too, cringed over the sleep conversation in the Break Room.

I love the way you've built the tension in this chapter. I giggled when Pam hung up on House upon Angela's approach. I'm glad she saw some hope in his agreeing to talk with her, even though she's aware he just lied to her.

I know I've told you how much I love this and how immensely I'm enjoying, but let's be honest, can anyone here that sentiment too often? This is so much fun and so different. I have only seen a handful of House episodes, if that many, but it still makes me giggle how much he just cuts to the heart of all of Pam's BS. I can't wait to see how you work out chapter 7 and I'm wearing my patience well, since I know your weekend is pretty hectic. But come Monday... ;-)
