Oh that killed me. More please.

1) I'm amazed that you could write something this finely detailed so soon after the episode 2) so satisfying to read an unabridged version of what we get on TV 3)so happy that Jonathan essentially says, what the hell?!? to her. Somebody needs to.
And besides that, loved Pam's perceptions of how her date would be so different if it were Jim there. Do we have to wait for another episode before you write more of this? Say it's not so.

I liked this chapter. Haha, I totally knew she was calling Jonathan as soon as I got to that part! And him getting pissed off -- NICE. I totally agree with him; he should be mad at her, why would she call *him* of all people? Gah, PAM. I can't wait to see next week's and see your story progress some more.... hehehe.

Last night's episode left me feeling all weird and empty inside...my little Jammy heart went into mourning! Your behind the scenes angst, kinda helps me deal with my disapointment in Pam. I just don't get her...I mean, with a little pride-swallowing, she could totally have Jim, and yet...mystery. Please keep writing, and keep me sane until next week.

You are BREAKING my heart! Though I do love that you're continuing to write along with the show.
I have to commend you for Jonathan's reaction. People have been handling Pam with kid gloves for too long. She grew up some in breaking up with Roy and moving out on her own, but she still has a long way to go.
Can't wait for more!

OK, Pam deserved that, but this just hurts. Stupid...them! Ack.

Amazing, as always. And of COURSE the person he was gonna call was Pam! That makes so much sense. :)

I'm really addicted to the fic. I get a little gitty every time I see that you've updated!! The writers on the show are really trying to kill us, so I'm happy your filling in all the blanks that they leave out!! LOVE IT!!

Great POVs for Jim and Pam here!

I have to say, I think you caught the feeling here. I was thinking of your last story when the episode finished last night (because of Michael & Jim) and honestly -- I think you had it spot on. Pam is relunctant and cowardly and afraid and unsure and Jim is heartbroken and sad and still in love with Pam (obviously!!) and it's so sad....
Can't wait for the next part.

My heart was breaking for Jim last night and in this part

Last week I thought they handled the whole Jim/Pam thing too lightly but last night, the pain and angst were back. And you captured it perfectly. I had an actual pain stab my chest when I read "So sure. So wrong." Ouch! Poor Jim.

Yeah, his facial expressions throughout this episode ripped my heart out- you've conveyed the thoughts and feelings behind those expressions wonderfully.

You gotta go through the bitter to get to the sweet. I'm holding you to the "sweet" part, though. :)

I didn't know there were more chapters already!! Yippee!
All I have to say is I Heart Jonathan Halpert! (And Mama Beesley, too!)

Wow. Very well done. I really feel as if you articulated the complaints people had about GWH, namely why did Jim give up so easily? Plus, I like how you had him show up the next day, not call in sick. Can't wait to read more!

Oh, Pam, you idiot...tell him!!!
This broke my heart: I mean that I don’t believe she and I weren’t….meant to be.” He swallowed hard. “I believe with everything in me that we were. And she just threw that away.”
Poor, poor Jim. Give him relief soon!

I was so happy to find new angsty Jam from you!
"...but the fear was stronger than she was." - this line really stood out for me amongst a chapter full of great lines.

Oh Pam - call him. Or Pam's Mom, can you call him? We need to get closer to the happy ending we all want! (Great chapter, by the way!)

If we had seen Pam and Roy's break-up, I bet it would have been very similar to what you wrote. It really took courage for Pam to do that as it would have been so easy to give in to Roy's pleading. Very well done.

Wow, this was a powerfully intense chapter. So glad that Jonathan was there for Jim to talk to, and also glad Jonathan then ran into Pam. I absolutely love Nqllisi's butterfly metaphor. How true!

This was so heartbreaking, first the Casino Night redoux and then the scene in the office. You write angst and heartbreak so well. Poor, poor Jim.

Honestly, I haven't read it yet, but I just had to tell you that I got really excited when I received notification that you posted. Your stories are wonderful - btw, I've read AftC completely through about 4 times now...does that make me sad?

Miscommunication is always such a problem isn't it. He should know, she was wrong. Call him, Pam. Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Tell me about it! I'm trying not to go all sitcom-ish here, but it's hard not to.....

Very intense emotions here. Great job.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it - thanks, as always, for the feedback.
