Perfect ending :)
Author's Response: Thanks for reading, Hannah! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I hope we see a scenario like this one day on the real show.

Well being the mother of three boys myself I have a soft place for this one. I really like your perspective on MOM!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading, kh, and I'm glad you liked it. I've always wanted to rn"meet" Jim's mom, and I'm hoping that hopefully, with maybe some wedding stuff going on on the real show, we might get to actually see her. I figure an awesome guy like Jim had to have a great mom and a good family life growing up. I'm about to become a mom myself in a few months, so I guess I'm practicing all this maternal love and whatnot, lol. I've read so many different stories that featured Jim's mom, and some of them kind of painted her as a Pam-hater, but I don't think she would be that way. I think she would be the type that if her son were happy, then that would make her happy.

This is so very sweet, I loved hearing his mom's perspective. Nice job.
Favorite line, as I could really see Jim saying this:
He cast his eyes down, pinched the bridge of his nose, and said to me in a sad, quiet voice that I‘ll remember until I take my last breath -- “Mom, I just think it would kill me to have to see her in a wedding dress.”
Author's Response: Thanks for reading, jazzfan! It's funny you commented on that particular line, because it was really the thing I though of first, then built the rest of the story on. I could definitely see Jim having a conversation with his mom that featured him saying that. I think it's finally fitting that now Jim's the one who gets to marry Pam, and how he probably can't wait to see her in her dress. I don't write that often, I really enjoy reading others' works, but it's nice to see that people seem to be enjoying it!
