I am a sucker for a good dialogue-only fic. Thank you for creating this one.

This is adorable. I especially love the opening of Jim definitely not doing this to get laid but also hoping that's exactly what happens.

Much as I love the way they ultimately used the Christmas card, this would've been great too, and a very natural, real-world sort of way for Pam to finally see it. I also think the attitude Jim takes here is very much in-character - that by this point, where the pain of their relationship is completely in the past, he's a lot more accepting of the journey they had to take to get there.

yeah, i definitely lol'd at the "holla." b/c i could totally see Jim in all his white-boyishness saying that about sex :) great chapter.

This is a fabulous look into Jim and Pam's lives. I personally loved this moment:
He loves them when the most they're like this, all wrapped into each other, hidden away from the world and they talk, sometimes about absolutely nothing, but it's just them. It always feels like a bad day is made better when it ends like this, and he loves that he always has it to look forward to every day.
Beautiful. I have been married for 10 years to my Jim and this is exactly how I feel about the end of the day.
Also, kudos on using Jason Mraz as inspiration. I just love that geek in the pink.
Author's Response: Aww, thank you so much, Beeswax. I gotta tell you a secret though, all the sappy stuff I write is a wish of how I hope my life will be when- and if! hehe- I find my own Jim, so it always makes me smile when someone tells me they already have theirs. I'm a sap, I know, but it's just.. well, yeah, hehe. Thanks again for reading and it's always so awesome to find another Mraz fan. He's fantastic, that kid. :)

I loved this so much. It's so nicely balanced--sweet, sexy, funny, dark, and *ahem* any mention of Oral!Jim makes my heart skip a beat (insert little devil face here). Stealing from Jim's list, I love how they can comfortably joke about anything. It tugs at my heart strings (like the dawn goose walk) to think of Jim telling Pam his top 5. You're really raising the bar for yourself, oobadnama. I'm coming to expect greatness ; )
Author's Response:
900 years later..
Thank you so, so, so, so much, Nan. I read this when I was checking my e-mail quickly before work and I gotta tell you, it made my night and it's made me smile every time I've thought of your very lovely words. I mean, really, probably the most sincere and sweetest review I've ever gotten and it really meant a lot to me, so thank you.
I have a couple days off soon and I'm hoping to write more and just know it'll be all your fault. :) You're awesome and again- thank you!

Awww, I really needed some sweet fluff this morning and this worked for me. I thought it was very in character for him to come back later and be serious about it.
Where did Jim learn that thing? Enquiring minds... *laughs*
Author's Response:
Heee, oh, if only we had the answers to that.. haha.
Thank you, jazzfan! I figure Jim won't pass on too many chances to be all serious and romantic. He's a sap, that kid. ;) I appreciate you taking the time to review and thanks again for reading!

Holy goodness! This was awesome (without being too racy, which I'm sure Angela would appreciate) and you know we all love a good Drunk!JAM. Because I read the word "holla" in a fanfic and it made me laugh my face off, I can now die a happy woman.

First, HOLLA really made this fic for me, without it, quite frankly it wouldn't have worked, so kudos to you :)
Secondly, that chapter was all kinds of awesomeness and I cannot wait to read the next part.
You made me want to go and watch season two... but guh you are right, they SO totally have hot raunchy sofa sex and stuff, why isn't this show on cable :(

Jim and Pam have amazing sex--holla :) Adorable. Such a warm and cozy fic. And more to look forward to! Win-win-win!

lol.. I was just about to quote the "Holla" line and say how it made me laugh out loud... great story!
Author's Response: Hee, thank you, kgreene!

Beautiful simply beautiful, I hope you write more!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for such lovely words, Jewelsy. It made me smile. :)

Oh, so sweet. I especially liked when Jim comes upstairs after her meltdown, how he simply closes the door and lies down next to her. So intimate and connected. Also, I'm glad you didn't say what was in the card - I like the idea of that staying private, even from us. Lovely.
Author's Response: Awww, thank you so much, Colette. I always appreciate so much hearing from you, it just makes my day. And yeah, I don't think I would like finding out what was written in the card either.. it belongs to Jim.. and maybe now, Pam. :)

I really hope you finish this! I am hooked! It was great!
Author's Response: Heee, thank you jinxcoke! More to come shortly!! That's what she said. ;)

Amazing! Anytime an author finds a way to perfectly mix the angsty past and the mostly fluffy present it's...well, pretty perfect. Really interesting idea. I've never seen the card addressed like this. I hope there's lots more where this came from.
Also, I don't think anybody's mentioned this, but it's christen, not christian. For using things the first time. Unless I'm missing that that's some Jim/Pam in-joke, I think you meant christen (re: the bed). Anyway, kudos, that tiny typo didn't detract from the story at all, it was beautiful. And lately, maybe because of the minimal angst on the show, I haven't been moved by Office fanfic in a long time.
Author's Response: Oh wow, thank you so much corposant. Aaaand an even bigger thank you for pointing out that typo, it annoyed the grammar nazi in me to notice that as well.. but I'm glad it didn't deter from the story for you. And I really appreciate your kind words, so thanks again. :)

This was such a sweet story. I love that Jim and Pam are finally happy. I think it's great that the show has put them in this relationship and isn't doing the obvious thing by breaking them up to add drama to the show. (Does that make sence?) They are perfect just as they are. :) Thanks for sharing this.
Hahaha...love the card! :)
Author's Response: You make absolute sense. I think the drama could just come from weathering all that life hands them together, because there will be angsty, bad stuff.. Pam in NY a perfect example. I think the show is handling them finally being together really well. Thanks so much for your kind words, spunky. :)

I love this. I love seeing your take on a missing moment and what was in the card. I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading, BTH. I hope you'll enjoy the next part too. :)

Amazing story! Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, doogie!! (And your penname makes me giggle like the obvious mature 12-year-old I am. :P)

Oooh, I love this idea! And the first chapter was simply divine :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words, Jenn. :)
