oh my god *dies*
I believe in soulmates, to a point.
I'm a hugeeeee hopeless romantic, so basically this chapter rules my life (:
Author's Response: Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you. But please don't pass out on me! :P

I own “Stuff White People Like.”
I'm serious xD
I love this story, heading off to read the next chapter.
Author's Response: Really? I saw that book at Urban Outfitters and I almost bought it. I kind of want to go back and buy it now. :P

I'm loving this quick updating thing. :D This was great. I love Pam's little speech on love. I agree with every word that she says. I don't believe in soul mates. I think that there are people who are very compatible, but one person? destiny? sorry I just don't buy that. I think love is also situational, it's about what you go through together as well. Because people are shaped by their experiences not just by fate or genetics. Well that's what i think anyway.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I was surprised to see how many people agreed with Jim and Pam's somewhat more realistic perception on the whole soul mate thing, and I'm glad you agree with their side of it. :)

I really liked this chapter, Nightswept!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad. :)

My grandpa worked at the Drake when I was little and we used to go there the Saturday before Christmas every year- it's so gorgeous =) Unfortunately, the last time we did that was 10 years ago.
Anyway, I really love this story so far- a lot! It's really sweet and I think my favorite part is just how all the places they're from and visit really hit home for me.
Author's Response: That's so cool. I love The Drake. It's so magical, especially around the Christmas season. I just hope I did the hotel some justice with the descriptions. Thanks for the review!

I love this chapter/story oh so much.
Author's Response: Thank you!

Okay first of all it's Battlestar Galactica...if you're going to make fun of the best show on television you best be spelling it right.
Second, I also <3 Coldplay so :P
Third, I know for a fact that the tickets to get in to the Drake Hotel for New Years are like 200 dollars per PERSON. Where are they getting all this money? Doesn't Angela work at Target? And Pam and Jim are college students...I'm at the exact same stage of life as them and I know that none of my friends and I could afford a New Years like that...just sayin' :)
I LOVE your Dwight. He had me laughing throughout the whole chapter. I really liked that Jim and Pam left the hotel and were somewhere more comfortable when the ball dropped. Sitting in his apartment and getting all cozy together is definitely more "them". Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thank you! I have gone through and corrected all mispellings of Galactica. I think. Can I blame it on the drugs? I don't know, I'm still drowsy. That stuff knocks you out for a good week. rnrnI realized that the Drake Hotel is muy expensive, and I probably should have provided a back story of how they were able to get in. I'm thinking Pam's parents, as doctors, and whatever Angela's parents do, were able to score tickets through some sweet connections... or something. Personally, I just loved the setting. rnrnI'm glad you enjoyed Dwight. I find that he's the most difficult character to write for some reason. Hopefully, it'll be a bit easier in forthcoming chapters. Thanks for the review!

yay! that was so sweet.

Oh, did you update this so soon because you knew I'd see the update e-mail in my inbox and squee?! You did, didn't you?! You're so awesome! And so is this chapter. How freaking adorable is Jim anyway? Being all sweet and protective and caring? Oh, this is the beginning of a really beautiful relationship, isn't it? I really cannot wait to see where you take this. SO good!
Author's Response: I totally updated because I knew it would make you squee! Haha. I think this could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship, and thank you for staying along for the ride. :)

I love this story. and I love that Jim has Chuck Palahniuk books as well as Stuff White People Like :)
Author's Response: Haha, I figured those books would be right up Jim's alley.

Oh I don't know how I haven't read this yet but I'm in love. This is so good, Nightswept. I really love how well you've merged AU Jim and Pam with the Jim and Pam we know and love.. it's really done brilliantly. And the music! Gah, I love it even more for your playlists and songs. Just, all of this is such a gem to read and I'm favoriting it so I can squee when I get updates in my inbox. :D
Author's Response: I think you have provided me with my new word of the week. "Squee!" It's such a fun little word isn't it? I'm glad you're enjoying the story and the music, although I must warn you that the music may become a bit odd in upcoming chapters. My musical range is just a tad bit eccentric and all over the place. :P

“Hey Beesly?”
”How come you never call me Pam?” Pam smiled.
“I do sometimes… Beesly?” Jim repeated.
Is this a reference to Alias? If it is, kudos. That's my other favorite show.=)
I am really loving this story (and I'm usually not a fan of AU). Update soon, please!
Author's Response: Yes! Totally a reference to Alias, and I'm so glad you caught that. I heart Michael Vaughn. I don't think that actor is doing anything, perhaps he could guest on the show...

AHHHHHHHHHH that was the best chapter yet. I love the phone conversations so much, I really can hear them saying it all.
Jim's present to Pam, omg the most awesome thing ever, and I laughed and aww'd at the
“Sniff it, you smell like strawberries,” that is so perfect.
The Facebook status at the end, left me smiling and squeeing, seriously this is amazing and is just getting better and better. I hope this series goes on for agesssss!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Haha, I'm 24 years old and I still love me some scented crayons. Glitter crayons, pastel crayons... I'm probably more cut out for an elementary teacher than anything else. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the phone conversations. I wasn't sure how this chapter would be received since it was kind of thrown together on my part, so thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I want to keep writing this story forever. I love writing these characters so much.

Still loving it. And since I am a Facebook addict I think I love it that much more. Please keep the updates coming!
Author's Response: Thank you! Ahhh... Facebook addicts unite!

Another good job

HAHAHA! Facebook makes EVERYTHING official. You are not in a relationship if it hasn't been listed on Facebook. That seriously made me laugh so hard. Amazing. I do really like it though b/c the whole Facebook thing is such an integral part of college life now. Even people who I know that hate it have caved because its the one way they can keep in touch with all of their friends.
I'm still really enjoying this story. Your Pam and Jim are adorable.
BTW, I remember reading this in a previous chapter and I saw that pic on the last page...Chicago has doubledecker trains?! I am SO jealous. I take the train into Philly every day for classes and now I want two levels dammit! ;)
Author's Response: I'm seriously in love with our double decker trains. I always sit at the top, too, because you're always guaranteed a seat to yourself. Maybe I'll visit Philly and we can start a petition to get some new trains over there. Haha. rnrnI was never a fan of Facebook until I left community college for a larger school and all of my classmates would ask, "You're on Facebook right? I'll just Facebook you." You're right, it is all students use these days to communicate with each other. I'm glad you found it relatable. I figured Jim would totally make it official over Facebook before saying anything outloud. Too funny.

I love it! The end of this chapter with the Facebook relationship confirmation totally reminded me of how wonderful it felt when my boyfriend sent me that request :) Oh Nightswept, this has officially become one of my favorite stories on MTT. I like how you blend Jim and Pam with AU Jim and Pam...they both seem so realistic and so much like people I knew in college and their interactions remind me a lot of me and my boyfriend. And that was a really long run-on sentence that an English major like me should not indulge in. Anyways, my whole point is, I love your story, and can't wait for the chapters to come!
Author's Response: English majors, yes!! Although, I shouldn't shout out my major too loudly because my grammar skills sure need some improvement. Heck, I know it. I'm not afraid to admit it. Please don't hate me for my run-ons and apostrophe mistakes! I'm glad you're still enjoying the story. There is a lot more cuteness coming up in this next chapter that I'm putting together. Just let me know if I ever go too overboard with the cuteness. Our secret signal can be you commenting, "Ugh! Gag me!" Haha.

Your story is such fun!! I love girlfriends Angela and Kelly, they are awesome! I love the phone conversations about nothing really, cuz I relate to that BIG TIME! I cannot wait until Jim and Pam meet up, because, can they really go 38 days without seeing each other? Yay for updates!!!
Author's Response: Thank you, and I hope that you are still enjoying the story. I know Angela and Kelly have been missing the past couple of chapters, but I promise they will be back in Jim and Pam's lives very soon.

There's no another word but "adorable" for that chapter. And I'm thoroughly amused by the ending. It was both sweet and the equivalent of passing a note in class, "Do you like me? Circle yes or no". I'm glad Pam circled Yes :)

SOOOO cute. I love the idea of them getting to know each other better on the phone first. I live in Chicago and it's nice to see a fic set here. I think the Metra could cut back on traffic issues and help them meet halfway but I digress :) Cannot wait for more!
Author's Response: Hey, Chicago represent. :) The Metra is just awful sometimes. And they really need to offer a student discount! Thanks for the review!

ok this is actually like my real life. no lie. It's creeping me out a tad...
except for the whole Roy thing of course, thank god I don't have to deal with that whole mess.
but anyways I love this story. it's amazing! Thank you for updating so fast. I happen to be doing absolutely nothing today so I'm bored and desperate for more chapters lol.

I really liked the ending of this chapter. Obviously, I talked about it in a previous review. Wow...I just got excited over 2 fictional characters changing their facebook statuses.
If you feel the need to post any more 'mindless Sunday morning drabble' to this story, please don't hesitate. ;)
