Aw! So sad, and yet kind of gives a sense of warmth. Because even though I think they're meant to be together, he definitely does have the strength of character to be okay if they can't be, and this was a beautiful way of showing that.

I'm at the same place you are with Pam-so I thought this was great. Lovely parallel to his 12-year-old self and the Jim/Pam conversation was such a sad, sad moment but hopeful at the end for Jim.
In the episode I can really see Jim hearing about Pam's date as a turning point for him, so I thought this was spot-on.

I really like this. Nice parallel with Jim's 12-yr-old self. I love the ambiguity at the end of this line:
The tears were forming and his hands started shaking and he knew he had to end this now.
