I lol'd out loud at Lord knows waiting was something she and Jim had the ability go pro at.
Gold medals for sure.

I really loved the comparisons between Roy and Jim, especially this line:
Jim... who had hurt her by refusing her, but had saved her from everything else
I know what it feels like to have someone like that; you described it perfectly.

this is perfect. this is a perfect chapter. i saw what you were saying, i could see it, very vivid, i love that in stories.
now, uh, it's time for some ass kicking. or threat making. or small pushes. or shotguns. just kidding about the shotguns.

I have been following this story since you first posted, but haven't had a chance to review. I think you are doing a great job! The last chapter was a good balance to all the angst and drama of the previous chs.
I am interested to see what happens when Roy comes looking for Pam. (I hope Jim does some ass kicking!) I am also interested to see what happens with Karen.

Ahhh, I thought it was over for a second. Yay for more!
I could totally see that dream sequence perfectly (fifty points for the shirtlessness).
What? Me? Perv--what? No. I don't know what you're talking about (:

I thought it was great just enough sunshine through the clouds too show that it's not all for nothing and that they can make it work. But I love how Jim just sorta knows when Pam needs him it's great.

I liked it. Everyone needs a break from all the drama. You seem to be taking baby steps with them, and that is good.

That was a nice relief from the angst and definitely not too sappy (for my taste at least).

Don't we all dream about Krasinski in a towel? God help those who don't . . . they're missing out.
I've been reading this for the past couple days, but have yet to review, so I'll just say I'm really enjoying this and keep it up.
(Any subsequent mentions of a certain actor in less-than-adequate clothing will hereby result in more reviews by me. Just sayin'. Seems to be a great motivator. It's the small things, y'know?)

"But if I can’t right now, then that’s OK… So long as you’re here, in this room, safe. That’s all that matters to me.” Ah, Jim. He couldn't have shown his love any better than those words. Once again, he puts her happiness and safety above his need for her to love him the way he loves her. *sigh* Very well written. More, please?

I love that she told him he doesn't know her anymore, a lot of things can change in 6 months and he needs to realize that but on the same note I hope that she realizes that she hurt him and that he has changed too. But then they find each other in the middle and jam fluff ensues :0 But for now bring on the angst ! (it's a very well written story) I give it a 10 !

That was a hard one to read. Pam is at the worst and I can understand her not letting Jim just come sweep her away. That being said I'm glad the way you ended this one and can't wait for more.

I also liked that Pam finally opened up to Jim. And I agree that angry Jim is what I am also hoping for. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Guh. Every chapter makes my heart skip a beat. Just the thought of the abuse is difficult to fathom.
Date: January 14, 2009 08:52 am Title: So Exposed
Great update. Thank you for having them talk things out. I'm kinda hoping for an angry Jim in the near future!
