I love this idea so much, to the point that in a once-upon-a-time fic of my own I wrote that they tried to be "respectful of the scars they'd left on each other." Your imagery is vivid, colorful, insightful, and in-character.

You're right. I did want to review. Because this is fantastic. I was going to throw in what lines I felt were super, but there's just so many genius descriptions and things in here. The image of him bruising where he'd held her too close was fantastic. This was so well done. :)
