Oh, this chapter was so wonderful and I especially just love how you narrated by this little girl fantasy and how it compared to reality. That worked very well here and it was just such a sweet glimpse of little girl Pam.

The evil snow. Well, you know, the two of them just had to start this way, because otherwise, they'd only be able to keep telling the story of how they met, but now, they can tell the story of how their wedding got snowed in. That's even better.

I enjoyed crazy with power Angela teaming up with pam's mom and Karen and Kelly adding their own charm to these scenes. And Pam's sister! I was wondering what would happen with that and if she'd show up. Can i ask for one scene between them before the story is over? Oh, and can I ask for the story not to be over or for their to be a third part of Pam and Jim Rockin' the Suburbs with their mini schnauzer?

Oh! And I know you stressed over having to do the vows and I'm actually glad that you left them out. We've seen the two fo them share so much, have so many moments that didn't even need words to show off how much they mean to one another, I don't think the vows could even live up to all of that(even though I know you'd write the hell out of them). But I think where you left it was just right.

"A crazy, random happenstance"-- tell me you took this from Dr. Horrible.

Anyway, looking forward to what could come next. Honeymoon? House? Dog? Hee. So many wonderful possibilities.  I hope the flu has finally left the building and that you're on the mend.

Author's Response: First off- crazy, random happenstance completely belongs to Dr.Horrible and I apologize for not giving proper credit in the end notes. I'm in need of a Dr. Horrible sequel- badly.

Aw, little girl Pam. All this time, she's been saying how much she doesn't care about a big, flashy ceremony but really, she's spent all those years imagining the perfect, fairy-tale wedding. And in the end, the wedding wasn't flashy at all, but the fact that she had found someone who was so perfect for her and all of her friends and family were there to witness her marriage- it completed her own version of the perfect fairy tale.

There will be a scene between Pam and her sister in the next chapter- it's already fleshed out and everything. After she appeared in this chapter, it bothered me that we've never seen a real conversation between those two, and it pains me that they've been so distant all those years. That will change very soon.

I'm glad that you didn't mind the decision to not show the vows. You are absolutely correct- those two have already said enough about the way they feel and how much they mean to each other- I felt like there really wasn't anything else to say that hadn't already been shown throughout both of these stories. And I thought the wedding needed to be somewhat of a secret ceremony- they had only invited 25 people, they wanted it to be intimate and just for them. And I'm sure we all know how it played out anyway. ;)

Hmm... what else could be next? I'll throw in a huge hint and tell you that the next chapter will find them at their reception party. After that, oh who knows. But I feel like I do have at least a few more chapters in me. As always, thanks for the lovely review. :D

I loved this chapter! Although I will admit that I wanted to see their vows. You always keep me hooked to your fic. :]

Author's Response: Thanks for stopping by to leave a note! I'm sorry I cut it off before we could hear their vows. I just feel like it was such an intimate wedding, and those two have already let us in on how much they love one another. Really, I don't think I could do their relationship justice. They're just too perfect together. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you for reading!

Man flu? Bird flu? Hope you're feeling better now cupcake, flu is not pretty :(

Okay so GUH. The wedding, as usual this chapter was perfect. The flashbacks were such a lovely touch to the story. I don't know why but Kelly having Jim as her screensaver is just HILARIOUS and so perfect, she's a stalker and doesn't know it lol.

Having Pam tell Karen the story of how her and Jim met was great, was it love at first facebook status? LMAO, God, you're amazing. seriously every chapter just gets better and better and you make me want to jump in to my computer and hug you - which I've tried and it hurts :(

Love the banter over their vows, I so lol'd at Jim's I read a Thesaurus in my spare time LMAO.

You need to get yourself a job on the set, because they're seriously missing out on having you write for them.

I know we have had this discussion about drugs being bad, but your fic is my drug, I need a healthy alternative to this series (which means you have to write me something else after this which is equally as awesomecakes) lmao xxxxx

Author's Response: I came down with a bad case of "the My husband fell ill then passed it on to me flu" and it was not fun. Chills, hot flashes, headache, fever- ugh. I'm happy to report that I'm feeling slightly better, although I now have a cough that refuses to go away. Anti-biotics should take care of that soon enough. At least, I'm hoping so. :( Thank you for the get well wishes!

I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter and all of the flashbacks. And haha at your hugging the computer story. Oh, you are so amazingly awesome and you brighten my day.

Healthy alternative... I've been mapping out some other (much shorter) stories in my head, but haven't figured out how to get started on them yet. If I need inspiration, may I look to you for some ideas? Pretty please?! For now, I think this story has a few more chapters to go. And I promise I won't take as long between updates. I realize a whole week and a half was a little ridiculous. Dang flu! On a side note, Robitussin is amazing. So are prescription drugs.

Okay, I took full advantage of your flu-ridden self, apparently, as I have not read this chapter til now! And hee, now I even have the wedding chapter waiting for me. Excellent for me, though I apologize that I see your edit note there and I would've been happy to beta for you. Next time?

What an excellent present from Pam's parents and the suite of all the girls giggling and playign TP bride was so much fun. The Angela surprise was also so great. I missed her during these last planning stages.

Regarding this chapter, I really loved what Jim did with the house and how he introduced it to Pam.  How he thought about the kitchen and yard and hahaha, Pam and Petfinder. The amount of time I spent on there is...embarrassing. Even after I got my dog :)

Altogether such a lovely pre-wedding chapter and I look forward to their snowbound wedding the next day. Once again, my beta "skills" are always open to you, so don't hesitate to message me here or on LJ or something.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the offer to beta- you are amazingly helpful and so kind, and I may have to take you up on that sometime. :) My grammatical skills leave a little to be desired- believe me, I know. Ha-ha.

Yay for Angela returning! She has been missed, and she plays an even bigger part in the wedding chapter. That woman loves to be in control. She is head of the party planning committee after all, and what a party she'll be planning on Pam's wedding day. (This reminds me of Monica on Friends for some reason when Monica tells Chandler, "Honey, I love you. But if you call our wedding a party one more time, you may not even get invited." Ha. Random.)

Pam and Jim are getting a dog, I am not just pulling your chain with all of this dog talk. Yup, there will be few more chapters. ;) Petfinder is kind of amazing. Like you, I spend way too much time on that site, but that's how I was introduced to my Jack Russell, Sadie. And oh, how much brighter the lives of my husband and I have been. :D

Thank you for the offer, again. We'll probably be speaking soon!

yay wedding! loved the flashbacks. Nice touch. I adored the part where they are are talking talking through the crack in the door. That made me swoon.

"She glanced down as Jim reached between the small crack in the door. She brought her hand down, her fingers running across the sliver of white that peeked out from the smooth black fabric of his jacket and feeling the cool metal of his cufflinks. His hand fell just above her wrist, stroking the skin there before drifting down, enclosing her hand in his."

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed that scene. It was my favorite in this chapter. Maybe the whole story. And after Jim's line "I don't need your reassurance Pam..." I thought, how ironic, because I love that Pam just always needs some reassurance from Jim that everything is going to be okay. She had to hear his voice to calm her nerves before the wedding, just like she had to hear his voice before going to sleep the previous night. Too adorable. ;)

I fell off the face of the earth for a bit and forgot to check your story. Sorry 'bout that.
So now I'm all caught up :D
I must say I love having real reference to the story (the pictures and links at the end). It's so cool that I can imagine everything.
And for the last chapter. Gilmore Girls title much? lol

Author's Response: Oh my gosh- total Gilmore Girls title. The title for this chapter actual just popped into my head and I had no idea where it came from, until I realized that I had gone through all of my Gilmore Girls DVDS over the weekend. Haha. Love that show.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the past couple of chapters as we lead up into the wedding. As always, thank you for reading. :D

First of all, I'm a HUGE Beatles fan but yet I can't seem to recall a song by them being titled Take Out Some Insurance On Me. Was it a B-side? What album was it on? Anyway, really enjoyed this chapter. I definitely enjoy Pam better when she's being gooey with Jim or because of Jim :)

Author's Response: I'm actually not sure what album that song is on, but I will get back to you! I found it the other day with my trusty Zune software. Gotta love the Zune. Take that, itunes! Thank you for reviewing- I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed this chapter.

first off, i have to say THANK YOU for giving a mini shout-out to Petfinder. I do a lot of volunteer work w/ rescues and every mention of that website gets one more person to adopt instead of buy a pet. so MUCHOS KUDOS!! i also hope that if/when Real Jim and Pam get a dog on the show (i so hope they do...that would make me almost as happy as if they have a kid) that they get one from a shelter. They seem like compassionate people, so I have faith that maybe they will.

also, i am totally and completely in love with this story. i tend to stay away from AUs just because...i don't know. i prefer the real stuff, i guess. but this one is just perfect because you do such a fabulous job staying true to the characters' personalities and are somehow to produce lines and actions that might as well be real, so it doesn't feel awkward or fake.

i CANNOT wait for the wedding.

Author's Response: Kudos for the volunteer work- I love Petfinder and encourage people to adopt, adopt, adopt!! The actual Jim and Pam (as in, on the show- haha) soo need to introduce a dog into their lives. Witnessing those two bringing a little puppy home- too adorable for words.

Thank you for taking a chance on my story, even though it is AU. I've always been wary of those type of stories myself, but something just kept nagging me to write and I can't seem to stop. Oy! Thank you so much for the review.

Husband and Wife, huh? I am physically on the edge of my seat awaiting this wedding. The snow excites me, because as I mentioned before, the windows in South Gallery is going to display the white sparkly stuff beautifully. That and I don't have to drive through it, or brush and scrape it off my car, makes this snowstorm okay with me. That along with, more importantly, Pam's gorgeous sparkly dress is going to be breathtaking. What a treat!! I am so excited!

The room at the W.... AMAZING! I am so happy that Angela got to join the girls at their pre-wedding hotel party. How sweet was it that neither Pam nor Jim could sleep and needed to hear each others voice before they could rest. Awww. Like Jim said, I am glad for them, they won't have to after chapter 18.

The house! I love the way Jim has ALWAYS been about their future together. From Indie Rock, moving to WI, collecting dumpster treasure, he has always been looking ahead, and taking good care of our girl. That makes me happy. And there is a yard for that puppy babe you keep teasing! SCORE!

Okay, that is it!

Oh... I am also looking to Jim and Pam's post-wedding hotel party. I can only imagine what fun that super-sexy suite at the W could be...

Author's Response: No snow for you, eh? I'm guessing you live somewhere in the South or in a more humid climate which makes me jealous! Also, how northern of me was it to say "eh?" Oh, boy.

I'm kind of jealous of those girls and their super swanky suite. I wish more than anything that I could be there. Such a wonderful treat from Pam's mom- so glad those two have worked through their issues and that Mrs. Beesly is doting after her daughter.

Jim, Jim, Jim. What a guy. He really is always thinking ahead. He just can't help it- he's so totally, completely, fully in love with this woman and wants to, has to take care of her in every way and the idea of him out there, looking for houses, and even dealing with a very scary sounding art teacher to move them into the perfect one- ugh. Gosh, it just makes me sick. Sick with jealousy. Haha. ;) I'm not yanking your chain with that puppy. I promise there is one on the way!

See, what I love about this story is that you do such a good job capturing both the special moments and the everyday. In fact, you find the special in the everyday. There really is no imaginable end point here. It's not like this has just been building up to a wedding. I mean, it has been, but I'm even more interested in seeing their married life (however, please feel free to write a wedding night chapter). Anyway, you make the daily life really beautiful and I can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: Aw, your review has me smiling from ear-to-ear. This was such an amazing treat to read, thank you. This story has been so much fun to write, and I'm glad that you enjoy reading about their day-to-day routines, no matter how non-adventurous they may be sometimes. And you're right, this hasn't always been just building up to a wedding, but sending them off into their future. Their own happily ever after, if you will. ;) Thank you so much for reading, and thank you for the lovely review.

The polar bear ice breaker line was used on me last Saturday night at a club in Boston. You officially rock for reminding me of that haha... And the banter between JAM... You are just awesome at it. Really. I bow to your greatness.

Author's Response: Oh my! Just a couple of days ago, one of my co-workers and I were joking around and talking about various pick-up lines, and he mentioned "the polar bear" one. I'm not quite sure how that ended up this story, but I had to use it- despite how tacky it would be to use for acquiring a girl's phone number. That is hilarious that there are people out there, using that line. Oh, man. And Boston!! Ahhhh all of my relatives are Boston, and just the mere mention of it makes me want to hop on a plane and fly out there. Papa Gino's, Joe's Steaksubs, the seafood... Now I'm thinking of that commercial, "I want it all... I want it all, and I want it now..." Thank you for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.

LMAO okay, people actually asked me wtf I was laughing out loud about as I read this chapter. I freaking love this story so much it's not even funny. I love how Pam is a foodmonger (is that a word? it is now lol) and OMG Jim holding a toddler, that made me melt. In my head she so called him "Unca Jin" aw :)

I so lol'd at Dwight, and I love how you have him interact with Jim, that was just too funny for words.

Kelly's story about Ryan, omg I am not kidding I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the image of Ryan running around naked and then twisting his ankle lol.

The musical chairs was great, I loved how Pam hated anyone that sat near them, it was so perfect, like you could not have written this ANY better.

Again, can't list all my fave lines because I'll be here forever, but you are amazing and wonderful and I love you long time =)

Jim as a momma's boy = PERFECTION.

I want to marry this story eeeep.

Author's Response: Ha-ha. I'm so glad that you enjoyed this chapter and I'm sorry that I probably made you look like a lunatic in front of other people. If anybody asks, you just say out loud, "Oh, the voices in my head are so funny!" And then they'll leave you alone. It works, I promise! Okay, kidding. Don't do that, otherwise they might try to lock you up and that would be no fun, or maybe it could be fun in a "Girl, Interrupted" kind of way. You could come out and do a movie role, and win an Oscar like Angelina Jolie!

Anyway, so after getting horribly off track as usual (sorry, bad habit of mine) - I love Dwight and Jim. They are without a doubt, even more fun to write as a couple than Jim and Pam. Sorry! It's the truth! I'm thinking my next story will have to be a buddy-cop comedy with those two. I'm serious. Would you read it? Because it would be amazing. I'm sure of it. Ryan's story- ha. I'm keeping mum on the inspiration behind that one. And yes- the whole musical chairs story just made me think about all of those family get togethers around the holidays and when you bring the in-laws together it's just... mad craziness, and after awhile you can't stand anybody. At least that's how it is with my family, anyway.

Feel free to bring the challenges on. I have a couple of other chapters in me. Although it was the plan at first, this story will not stop with the wedding. I feel there's still plenty more to tell. ;)

Omigosh, these last two chapters have left me with such a huge grin on my face. Dwight in the last chapter, I mean, seriously, what were they thinking having Dwight officiate? They had to know what they were getting into. Or maybe they didn't realize it would be *that* bad. Either way, hilarious fodder and having him sing as everyone practiced coming down the aisle was awesome.

I love how when stressed and/or drunk, Pam totally regresses and Jim becomes like this really strict father figure. When they have kids, I'm imagining him being the tough one. But this chapter was so great with the musical chairs and how it began with Pam needing relief, but it simply became both of them not being able to deal with any of their loved ones. That was just so hilarious. I also appreciated that Pam recognized that the speeches were very obviously a contest as to see who creates the most emotion or makes the moms cry the most. I mean, come'on, that's totally an unspoken truth to all wedding speeches. I really adored the sentiments that both Jim and Pam expressed here and I also loved the honesty and self-awareness Pam interjected into hers. Just another use of how it's the small things and how well they compliment one another that makes the Jim and Pam you've written so believable and so lovable.

Oh side note, I LOVE the bridesmaid dresses. And the shots from the place where they are having it are just gorgeous and will look lovely even if it IS snowing 9 inches out there. Probably lovelier :)

Looking forward to more! (P.S. I friended you over at LJ)

Author's Response: Hey there! Sorry, you will see on my LJ that I've left it to collect dust over the past couple of months and I don't log in too often, but once this story reaches an end, perhaps I'll find myself craving to blog every so often. But I got your request, we are officially LJ friends. Woo-woo!

Dwight officiating. Oh my. I know Pam and Jim were looking to cut back cocsts on the wedding, but were they that desperate? Yes, I think they didn't believe that Dwight would be that difficult to handle, but for some reason Jim finds himself having this weird, sibling rivalry with him and... Well, it's just so much fun to write those two, and I couldn't resist making Dwight a part of the wedding. Although, he is a challenge to write, I will admit. He's just chock-full of information!

Jim is totally a parental figure, but I guess that's all second-nature to him now, being a teacher and all. They're both kids at heart, but Pam can still be a little naive at times so it's good that Jim knows how to be responsible and find a solution when the situation requires a more mature way of thinking. At the same time, Pam has grown so much- as evident in her speech, about how she felt so ignored but it was slightly her fault, growing distant from her parents by not keeping in touch, and not really giving them a chance to understand what it was that she really wanted for herself out of life. Speaking of-

The speeches! I feel like I've written myself into a corner because now it's like- well what the crap do they have left to say in their vows? But you're right, the effect of the speeches on their family members and friends is so a contest and seeing how naturally competitive Pam is- it was all too fitting to have her craving a need to make Jim's mother cry. Haha.

I'm glad you like the bridesmaid dresses! I think the snow will only add another layer of romance to the whole event, but not without bringing some trouble along the way... And on that note, you'll just have to wait and see what I mean. ;)

Thank you again, albie, for such a generous review. You rock.

I really hope that this small white box can contain all the excitement this chapter has created in me. I'll give it a try, we'll see what happens.

I love this! Cheers aplenty for the South Gallery and all those windows! And Amy Freeze (ha!) says it is gonna snow too! Gorgeous! The girls in Karen's dress creations are all going to be so so so lovely. I cannot wait to read all about it, but I am so in love with the treats that are leading up to the wedding, and looking forward to all the 'up tos' that you offer, amazing friend.

I love the way that Jim and Dwight cannot help themselves. They HAVE to bicker. It makes me smile a big smile every time. It's like Thursday, and thank goodness too, we aren't getting a new ep this week. I am glad I have awesome fanfic to read.

I love Pam's mom. She is so fretful about the weather, and having everything as well manicured as she is. I love how Pam was reassuring her and was not being spazzy at her rehearsal, too. Awesome!!

Of course, I love whenever Jim and Pam are together. Jim reads Pam's thoughts, knowing she is thinking dirty thoughts about him. He obviously has some dirty thoughts of his own, fingers in belt loops, jokingly ordering all out of the room, all of it. Just Big SCORE! Nightswept, thanks so much for being awesome amazing and fantastic!

So.... I cannot wait to read about rehearsal dinner. I hope that Pam's night away from her groom is fun for her. I have no doubt that Karen and Kelly will see to that, and I know Jim will send her off with a wonderful 'good-bye-until-I-see-you-at-our-wedding', and I cannot wait to read of it all!

Just one more thing... are we gonna finally meet Pam's once-mentioned sister?

Okay, that's it. I like this story a little bit, can you tell?

Author's Response: Hey there, Aivilo. Thank you so, so much for the wonderfully awesome, amazing review. You never fail to bring a huge smile to my face! I'm glad that you enjoyed this chapter.

Jim and Dwight- oh. They were too much fun to write. Those two very much have this sibling rivalry going between them that I find so hilarious. And Pam's mom- I imagine she might be a little bit of a nightmare once the wedding day arrives. People like her tend to stress out even moreso than the bride- I hope Pam can handle it!

Hmm... Pam's sister, you remembered! I'm leaving that one as a surprise... Until then, thank you so much for sticking with me through the story, and thanks again for leaving such a wonderful note! :)

“Have you never seen a wedding take place before, imbecile?”

“You’re calling me a blockhead? Have you looked at yourself in a mirror? Your face is shaped like an tetragon.”

”Did you just wink at me?” Pam asked. “Sleazebag.”

“Well, I think you should reconsider a religious ceremony, otherwise you both might end up in hell,” Dwight said.

“Hold her by the back of her head,” Kelly chimed in. “It’s so romantic.”

I'm glad that you think I am at such a level that I could begin working for the show. I'd love for them to have me, but I doubt they would consider it- although I am available. Writers??

Okay, this was just such a fun chapter. Firstly, seeing Pam in the classroom, getting comfy with the students, that was great. I loved the discussion about On the Road and hee, Pam's smile over being deemed "cool" was perfect. And aw, the two of them working at the same school, sharing lunch in the faculty lounge? Omigosh, so cute I may vomit ;)

Secondly, the string of "your face" insults was hilarious.  Which then became the music discussion, one of my favorite wedding parting gifts and really fits this couple, clearly. Jim's inability to qualify exactly what kind of travesty Britney Spears is to the music industry, nay the world, is a familiar discussion(lol). I loved their immovable musical choices, The Cure and Journey, bringing us back to when theyf first began. The Cali trip was an excellent present and there are so many more fun places to drive to in Cali that are way outside the smog and tourism of LA. I kinda hope we will see that trip, but I understand if we don't :)

I love Pam's celebratory dance parties. Jim may protest, but he loves them too.

Finally, ooh, wedding playlist. I would LOVE an upload if you can. And good job with the photoshop. Ooh, "This Modern Love" has been playing on repeat on my itunes recently! Hee. Must check out this whole list.

Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Haha. Wasn't it so much fun watching Pam lead a classroom full of students? I think the idea of being in that positioned frightened her, which is why she has been taking her sweet little time getting her official certification. Perhaps this was the motivation she needed to get the steppin' on her career. ;)

"Your face!" One of my friends and I insult each other with that all the time, when there is just nothing else to say. It has gotten so bad in fact, our other friend pulled us in for an intervention just the other day. "Ladies. I think it's time to stop with the 'Your face' insults," she tells us after I pulled a glorious one. My friend had asked, "It took you two days to come back with a response?" and my response was, "Your face is a response that takes two days." Okay, I'll admit- my life makes me sad.

Anyway, I've gotten off track from the story! So yes, I thought the "your face" was so Jim and Pam; they're both such kids at heart. I love when Jim is "in the zone" when it's time to talk music and feels that it is his duty to educate Pam. Too much fun. I can't wait for the Cali trip. It will definitely be written into the story. :)

Jim so loves the dance parties. He tends to bust out the Vanilla Ice moves.

I'm hoping to have the wedding playlist uploaded by the time the wedding chapter gets here. That way, you will all have little wedding favors to take home with you as well. It will be like you were really there! ;)
