I'm sorry it took me so long to get to read and review this chapter! I haven't been able to really sit down in a quiet room and read this until now.
I can't remember if I've told you yet how much I adore this story, and I have to say how happy I am that you're continuing it! There's a lot that I really enjoyed about this chapter.
-How she realizes how hot her boyfriend is.
-you incorporating the Pratt story into this chapter was seamless.
-I love that he told her he loved her at a gas station in the rain
-I also love that she rambled on about his card not working. Really in character and I can see it all happening in my head.
It's all so cute and sweet, and I hope you have lots more where this came from. I love that this is in first person but it seems so in character. You've gotten into her head perfectly. If you're rusty, it doesn't show one bit. Hopefully you continue to be inspired! Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Hey there, Deedldee! So, glad to hear you liked it. I did feel incredibly rusty, so I'm glad everything seemed in character for you, I really work hard at the characterization and getting all of the details from the show into the story. Thanks so much for taking a moment to review, I really do appreciate it! I am feeling a bit inspired, so hopefully I can get more out to you guys soon. :)

You just left me an incredibly sweet review, so I feel like a terrible person for having read this chapter and not reviewed it yet!
I love Pam in this, where she's all giddy to have Jim as her boyfriend. It reminds me of that adorable deleted scene in season 4 where they're both giving those giddy talking heads and blushing and chattering. It's so perfect. And the ending - just lovely. There aren't enough awesome adjectives to describe it. Can't wait to see what comes next. :)
Author's Response: Hey, Oldleaf! Don't feel terrible, I barely review myself, so I can't complain. :) Thanks for the awesome review, glad that Pam's giddiness comes through well. I kinda love the fact that she's in the 'wait is this really happening' phase. It's a fun place to write. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting these out on a more regular basis so I hope you enjoy the rest of the ride. Thanks again for taking a second to review, really appreciate it! :)

When I saw this story had been updated I almosy went out and bought myself some fireworks to celebrate. I'm so happy, and you didn't let me down :)
I so lol'd at Pam leaving Penny hanging, and ohhh what did Jim buy in the gas station. I'm really excited to see this being updated again :)
Author's Response: Awww, thanks Sally for being such a supporter of the story, it really means a lot to me! I'm glad I didn't let you down with the chapter, I feel completely rusty in my writing and there are still a few things I'd like to go back and correct eventually. Glad you liked the convo between Pam and Penny! And Jim's bag....not gonna be paid off until day six, so hopefully I make it there! Thanks again for the kind words. :)

You're back! I'm so glad you're feeling inspired, pam. Very sweet chap. I only wish I had time to read the prior chap to get into the flow. Despite that, I enjoyed this. Don't be a stranger ;)
Author's Response: Hey, Nan! Sorry I was never able to get a story out for your bday, I believe my tenure as a fanfic writer will be up when this story is finished, but I have to include my gratefulness to you as reviewer and reader. Your words are encouraging and I'm glad you've been enjoying the story. Hopefully, it won't take me a year for another update. ;)

YAY Holly is here.
Jim telling Pam he was falling in love with her, only to have her be asleep? EPIC.... so so so so cute :)
Author's Response: YAY! Sally! So glad you liked it. Thanks for the review, girl! :)

Have I mentioned how much I adore this story? I absolutely love it! I love how you've incorporated events in the show into this story so carefully and believably. It's so great! Can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Hey, thanks so much for the kind words! I'm so glad to hear you love the incorporation of the show, it's my favorite part about writing this fic so I'm happy to hear it's working so well for you! It'll try to get the next part out as soon as I can! Thanks again! :)

I loved the ending. That's my favorite part of this chapter. It not only brings us back to Diversity Day, but gives us a Goodbye Toby ending we could deal with. ;) I'm loving the Jim introspection here. And KELLY in this chapter? Hysterical! Awesome as usual.
Author's Response: Awww, thanks so much. This chapter had been in my head for a long time and I'm so glad I could finally get to share it with everyone. Oh, Kelly is so fun to write, I love being able to stick her little moments in there. Thanks so much for the review and taking the time to work with me on this! I really appreciate it! :)

that was beautiful. i will be so sad when this story ends, but it's been great reading so far! great chapter - very well written! if you need a beta any time, let me know i can help you.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'll be sad when this goes as well but especially sad because this story will end when the series end, so it'll be doubly over. I appreciate your offer for the beta but my good friend JamJunkie is picking up beta duties while Lux is away. Thanks again! :)

What a sweet, quiet (despite the fireworks) ending to this chap, Pam. It's a nice balance to the chaos.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Nan! :)

I loved this chapter! I think the mix of sweet and funny with serious and tense was perfect for Jim and Pam. I also loved the inclusion of Toby! How hilarious and perfect. I loved the date in Wendy's. Perfect balance of sexual tension with sweet. Can't wait for more, great job as always.
Author's Response: YAY JamJunkie! So glad you loved Toby. :) I believe that completes the basic Office characters. I haven't left anyone out, have I? Anyway, thanks so much for your kind words, they are always encouraging. :)

I love this chapter so much. I was really worried in the last chapter because it seemed to imply it was the end of the story. I found that to be incredibly disappointing because there wasn't any resolution and contained excessive amounts of Jan and Michael. So, I didn't care for it and was rather depressing because I've loved this story from the beginning. This chapter was everything the last one wasn't and I can't wait for another. It can't come soon enough.
Author's Response: Hi there! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter so much. :) I promise the story is nowhere near being done yet and that when it is ending, hopefully everything will be tied up. I think the last chapter seemed different cause I was playing with the style and wrote it somewhat of a stand alone. Anyway, thanks so much for the review, I hope I can get the next chapter out sooner than a month! :)

Pam, I was wondering where you were! Congrats on the new job!
Despite everything that keeps getting in their way, these two are just so cute together. Whatever you have them doing just seems so sweet and, well, normal. You had me laughing at first because my son recently introduced me to dipping fries into a frosty at Wendy's : D Their little moments of intimacy fit in so naturally.
Author's Response: Hey, Nan! Glad to hear from you! :) Thanks about the job, I'm very glad to be working full time again. Unfortunately, less time for fic, so thanks for being patient. Even though Wendy's was used as a show reference, I'm so glad it was. I love dipping the fries in the frosties!!! Thanks for the review, means a lot! :)

I keep thinking - TEXT WORK AND TELL THEM YOU GOT THE INTERVIEW, Jim is so frustrating lmao!!! Love where this is going, and I also love how they went to Wendy's for dinner, their chicken fingers win all ;)
I'd say update soon, but I know you're busy, BUT DO IT :)
Author's Response: *lol* Sally. I promise, I promise, Jim will let work know that he's got an interview. ;) Wendy's was actually a Chair Model reference, but I'm so glad they used that restaurant because I love their food. Amazing stuff for a fast food chain. Thanks for the review and the kind words. I really appreciate it and hopefully I'll be able to get to the next chapter before too long. :)

nice chapter! i love how even though their date didn't go as planned, they were still able to have a great time. this was also very well written. great job!
Author's Response: hi, thank you so much for the kind review. I really believe Jim and Pam could have a great time through almost anything, which is why they rock. Thanks so much for reading! :)

Awww, that last line was perfect. I loved your take on the dinner. I loved Jim's pulling strings to get them seated earlier. I loved the ridiculousness of the actual event! This story is so great, you've done such a great job with it. Loving it more and more the more I read!
Author's Response: Hi there JamJunkie. I feel bad that I haven't gotten back to you and your wonderful reviews. You have no idea how grateful I am that you sat down and started reading from the beginning, making sure to comment on each chapter. Your kind words are incredibly flattering so thank you so much for taking a moment to comment on the story. I appreciate it so much!!! :) I do hope you enjoy the next chapter and what is coming up. Thanks again so much. :)

Oh, this one was fantastic too! I love that Jim and Pam had their moments in this chapter but it was also ensemble-heavy, which is fantastic. Looking forward to the double date next chapter! Great work as usual!

The italian food moment was great in this chapter! I loved the moments between Jim and Pam in this chapter and I feel like the last few lines by Jim were fantastic. Absolutely Jim and absolutely amazing. Great work.

The Karen moment in this chapter very much reminded me of Branch Wars. I'm never *positive* of what reference you're attempting to make, but I think I have it, which is awesome. I also love that you showed that Jim isn't perfect here either. The Dwight moment in this chapter? Hilarious! Awesome! Perfectly Dwight. Love the end of the chapter too. Great job!
Date: September 23, 2009 05:24 pm Title: Wash Away
I liked Pam's ability to confide in Jim, and I liked the awkward moment when they first met by the fountain. I thought this chapter was perfect. Nothing overly sappy, not too formal. Perfect. Awesome job!
[Oh, and happy 100th review. You must be so proud of this story, and rightfully so!]
Date: September 23, 2009 05:18 pm Title: What Am I To You?
I really liked this chapter. I liked Pam's public confession. I feel like this was an action-packed disaster of a chapter for the characters, but not in the way you wrote it, but in the things that happened to them. I could feel the stress level rising... oh man! Great job.
Date: September 23, 2009 03:08 pm Title: For Lovers
I liked that through all of this, you've managed to keep everyone in character. Jim, especially. Most notably with the fight with a drunken Roy. Jim pushed back, but not too early, and he wasn't sitting back and letting Roy beat him to a pulp. Also, I loved the tension between Pam and Karen, Jim and Karen, Jim and Pam... all of it was brilliantly written. I like how you used the self portrait as a representation of Pam, and how a little part of her in the portrait still remains. Excellent!

This chapter was great! Meredith as the bartender! Haha! Andy's outburst, Angela and Andy... a great chapter for the characters! The ending was also fantastic. The angst is so heartbreaking but excellent. Can't wait to continue!
Date: September 23, 2009 01:10 pm Title: The Rainbow Connection
I love how emotionally connected I felt to this chapter. I was angry at Karen, angry at Jim, angry at Katy, confused, happy, all of the emotions wrapped up. It was fantastic. The multiple triangleish things? Fantastic. I love your inclusion of Andy in this too. Loving this more with each chapter!
