I cracked up when I read title of the book Dwight gave Kurt. Holy shiz, that is classic Schrute. This is very real, it seems like it could actually happen in twenty years! Good job! I am reading on. :)
Author's Response: Scary thing is - it's a real book. :) Glad you liked it!

Aww! Fluff makes the world go round! This is so cute! I am reading on.
Author's Response: That's my motto. ;) Thanks for reading!

This is so cute and fun. Janie and Kurt are just soooo - for lack of a better word at this moment- cute!!
Author's Response: Cute works!!! Thanks Claudie! I'm so glad you liked it!

I LOVED IT! Well done xoxoxo. And it's so nice to see the nerd get the popular girl...even if the nerd is the spawn of Dwight Schrute. :)
Author's Response:
Thanks so much Snarkland!!! This one was a favorite of mine to write. Dwight is just too much fun.
I'm so glad you enjoyed reading it!!

fantastic!! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks Lindsay! I'm glad you liked it!

AWWWWW. Yeah, that's awesome. And the keys in jello? A crowning glory. Beautiful. My favorite aspect is how in-character you keep everyone we know, and how very likely the personalities of the kids seem.
Author's Response: Hee hee! Thanks lis! The more I wrote the more I loved the idea that Kurt was painfully normal and that Janie was a tad embarassed by her parent's behavior - but still like them in alot of ways. :)

HURRAY! I've been checking almost every week to see if this story had been updated, and it has! Simply a wonderful, adorable end to a wonderful, adorable story. Cheers.
Author's Response: Oh Goghaway! I'm sorry to keep you hanging!! If I ever do that to you again - just email me through the site and nudge me. Sometimes it's hard to know if anyone even cares after so much time. LOL! I'm glad you stuck it out and I'm glad you liked the ending. Thanks again!

To anyone wasting time reading this review, stop what you are doing and read.
This is one of the best written and most wondefully fluffy pieces of fluff ever written. This has earned a place in my all time favorite stories spanning the many different genres and fandoms for over ten years. I absolutely loved it. It's closer to capturing the basic essence of what fanfiction is (and, more importantly, what it can be) then almost anything I've ever read.
In the words of one syllable: My dear, you rock.
Author's Response:
Wow. It's funny - I initally wrote this as a diversion tactic - to keep myself from speculating too much about S3. It was so much fun to write and I'm partial to fluff - so there was no way this story wasn't going to be chock full of it.
You've absolutely made my morning - quite possibly my week with your kind words. :) Thanks so much for reviewing! I'm so very glad you liked it.

Reading the newest and last chapter tonight was like running into an old friend you hadn't seen in a while, so happy and bubbly - and then the friend leaves and you never see her again. Now I am sad that the story is over. But what a great idea and what a great job you did with it! I love sweet, squishy, fluffy happy endings for all generations!
Author's Response:
sweet, squishy, fluffy, happy...that's me in a nutshell!!
Thanks kaystar!

So glad to see this come back...so sad to see it end. Love how Jim and Pam still adore each other, still tease each other, how he still lives to make her happy - so exactly how I want to envision them in the future! Jane's super powers - hysterical. The 'fancy' beets, the green bridesmaids dresses, the recurrent jello motif...like a big grab bag of fun. Fact: this was a joy!
Author's Response:
I was reluctant to let this go. And it's funny...cause I really thought I'd despise it in the end as being way too far fetched and contrived. It's still on the contrived side - but...anyways...
My favorite moments were actually between the kids and the parents - esp. Janie and Jim. Makes me sigh just thinking about it.
Thanks so much colette. (And I don't really like beets myself - but that recipe looked really yummy when I went searching for what Janie might make. LOL!)

Wonderful ending to this fic.
Author's Response: Thanks gotkona! It was fun to write!

I'm glad you had a chance to put the finishing touches to this story. So sweet. I liked that Janie bested Angela for once! I'm glad they lived happily ever after. :)
Author's Response:
I figured someone had to defend her - and it had to be Kurt - otherwise...just...not good.
This was fun. Love those challenges!
And of course they did. :)

This is so adorable. I just read the entire thing and I loved it! I love how Jane has qualities from both Jim and Pam and Kurt seems pretty normal.
Author's Response:
I'm so glad you liked it!
I couldn't decide at first how far to go w/Kurt - and decided that his quirk would be that he's got all the normal traits from his parents.
And Jane - well...with parents like hers - I couldn't resist. ;)

Yay - Dwight enamored with Jane! And the "Fact." proposal. Awesome :)
Author's Response:
Of course he wouldn't be able to resist finding out all Jim's secrets - not like Jane would actually reveal any. LOL!
Thanks Shan!

due to the fact that they mysteriously wound up suspended in red Jell-O as part of the elaborate dessert buffet
Ha! This was so great! Are you sure you won't do an epilogue about the first grandchild?
Author's Response:
Oh geez Jonah5. I've tried my hand a Jim & Pam Babyfic - but Halpert-Schrute: The Next Generation? That's just too much for this girl to tackle. LOL! Glad you liked it.

Ok...that was awesome. I NEVER even thought of their kids getting together....but it was great! They were both the perfect combinations of their parents! This story was so funny and charming...I loved it! Thanks for sharing!
Author's Response:
I'm glad you liked it - but it's actually not over. One more chapter coming soon.
I hope you enjoy the ending!

Awwww. Worried papa Jim is so cute!
Author's Response:
Isn't he though? Thanks Lis!!

i really like it! at first i was skeptic but i really like it. You really got Jim and Pam down, and whenever jim is around janie its just adorable how paternally protective he is haha REALLY like the story
Author's Response:
Why thank you. I'm iffy on future fics myself. I'm so glad you gave it a try.
And even gladder you liked it. ;)

This just gets cuter and cuter! :D
Author's Response: Thanks Semby - I'm glad you think so!
Date: October 13, 2006 08:37 pm Title: Chapter 5
How cute of Dwight to turn on the flashing red light to race home to get some cookie. So like him. And I loved Kurt and Janie's conversation in the car. And Kurt's "Fact" before each statement - acorns don't fall far from their trees!
Author's Response: There's got to be a reason to put up with Angela's bitchiness. ;) And yes - Kurt can't escape that household without picking up some of his parent's traits. :)

This story is like the gift that keeps on giving. Still a delight, so many great little bits (that I'm too lazy to specify now!)
Fact: Jim is one hot Dad...of course so is single Jim, ice skating Jim, grilled cheese cooking Jim, nano-robot fighting Jim...maybe a good challenge would be to come up with an UN-hot Jim?
Author's Response:
Fact: I'm so glad you think so. Fact: There is no such thing as UnHotJim. :)
Date: October 13, 2006 12:02 pm Title: Chapter 5
I love DAD Jim. He's great.
Author's Response:
I think DAD Jim is not only great - but incredibly hot.
Just my opinion ;) Thanks gotkona!

I don't know if that's what you were going for, but Angela and Dwight are so cute, haha:) It's comforting to see their passion after so many years of marriage:D
Author's Response: Dwight and Angela can be cute - in their own ridiculous way. :) Thanks Supervixen!

Okay, I don't know how/why I didn't review this when I read it before, but this chapter (the whole story, for that matter) is absolutely awesome.
You know, one of the....brilliant things in all of your stories is your ability to add in tiny details that just make it all come alive. Like Jim picking Janie up and hanging her upside down with her pigtails above the floor - I could totally see him doing that. So little moments of verissimilitude like those just make it all come together that much more. That and the fact that your dialogue is always spot on.
And you never, never leave us lacking in the happy Jim/Pam department - which is one of my other favorite things about you. :o)
Author's Response:
You are just incredibly sweet. And OK - verissimilitude? Can I just tell you how much that tickles me to see a word like that in reference to one of my silly fanfics?
Awesome.
And never fear. It is not within my makeup to write anything BUT a happy (or hopeful) ending for Jim/Pam. Just can't do it. I've tried and I cave - EVERY TIME. ;)

I love how the Halpertette is the one who goes after what she wants and little Schrute is the shy one. Thank goodness she has learned from the example of her parents!
Author's Response:
She's not going to make the same mistakes her mother did - at least not if I have anything to say about it! LOL!
SIGH.
