Oh, Pam. I love my precious role reversal, but that doesn't stop my heart from breaking for her. I imagine it would probably be the worst thing in the world to lose someone like Jim. And especially seeing him with Karen?
This is amazing. I'm anxious for the next chapter!
Author's Response: It would have to be excrutiating to lose a guy like Jim - and yes, to have to see him with another women. Argh.

I'm loving this so, so much. It's reassuring to know that all roads lead back to Pam, and I'm so glad that you're making Karen likeable. I don't get all this Karen-hate. People just need to have a little bit of faith.
Anyway, still so damn excited for the role reversal! Yay!
Author's Response: I'm excited for the role reversal, too - so much that I flew through and wrote to the end this weekend, but I've got to go fill in some blanks. Because it was just obvious that I was impatient to get to the end. :o) Thanks!

Continue please!! Gotta know what happens when Jim and Pam finally see each other :-)
Author's Response: Working on it - thanks!!

You've done it again. Loving this.
Author's Response: Yay! Thanks!

It's fics like these that make me want to slap those two idiots a few hundred times. Seriously.
But then some of the actual episodes make me want to slap them, too.
I think you should see that as a compliment. =P It's real, believable, and sometimes I can imagine that happening, on the show. [Those times I quickly read Jamfluff, instead. Quickest method to get rid of such sad thoughts.]
Great job!
Author's Response: Yeah, I'd like to knock their heads together sometimes, too. Or lock them in a room and not allow them to come out until they've gotten past the B.S. :o) Thanks for the review!

Okay, when are we getting the actual MEETING? I am dying already!!! My favorite part? Well, you probably could have guessed, but it was this: "Michael had been ready to give the camera a big victory smile, had (sic) looked slightly annoyed when he looked over to see Rick zooming in on Pam's face."
It's so great because it's true. You know that's going to be the first thing they're going to do when Michael makes the announcement, haha. I love moments like that, I'm such a dork.
And the part about that she knew he was the man she wanted to be with ... AGH. That ripped my heart out. I so WANT that to be true. *sigh*
Author's Response: It IS true, GreenFish! There just is no other way - I will not accept it that Pam could possibly want any man other than Jim. I simply refuse. :o) Thanks for the review!

I think Jon might be right...Scranton incorporating the remnants of Stamford *is* fate.

Yay! I was so excited to see this. It's very interesting to see Jim in deep denial, rather than Pam. Can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR ROLE REVERSAL, OH MY GOD. I have been praying that they do that on the show, because I think it would be an amazing thing to watch. I love Jealous Pam, too, so here's hoping that happens as well.
If possible, I'm even more excited to see where this is going, now!
Author's Response: I'm so excited to write it, believe me! And yes- I'm hoping the show goes in that direction as well...

Looking forward to your version of their reunion!
Author's Response: Thanks!

As always, you've piqued my curiosity. I'm a greedy, selfish girl - so I unashamedly say, MORE!
BTW, re: your response to Par5 - have to admit, while I've certainly enjoyed many fics with this premise, I always find it hard to buy them FINALLY getting together (i.e., both admitting their feelings, yadda, yadda), then creating self-imposed limitations...actually getting in bed and just cuddling, etc. (I guess I could see it if they were teenagers.) I get all the emotional adjusting they'd need to switch gears, but still. Maybe it's just that Jim reduces me to a hormonal lather, but if I were Pam...hell, there's so many things I'd do differently if I were her, so never mind. Call me an old - ahem, mature - floozy, but I think the urge for sexual expression at that point (late night, already smooching, etc.) would be plain irresistable. And delicious. But, as I said, this ain't real life and I can still enjoy a good fic that draws it out, so don't let me influence you. Sorry to leave you this novella comment...no one ever accused me of being brief.
Author's Response:
First of all: Never ever ever give up. Wait - no, never ever ever apologize for being long-winded! I love your reviews (and your fic, too, as it happens!).
I also agree with you that it'd be unrealistic of them to hold back in a lot of ways. Sometimes I think that if Pam had gone straight from Roy to Jim (which, thank god, she didn't do), she might have been hesitant, more out of fear and a residual leftover wall of protection. But if Pam were really ready for Jim - as you say, having come out with how she feels about him, cards on the table, all in - as it were - then....yeah. Instantaneous. Because they obviously have a chemistry that would be undeniable. One thing that struck me - shocked me, actually - about the "new" kiss in the season opener was that it seemed decidedly....sexual, more so than the chaste one we saw in the finale. Something about his hands on her waist, definitely the way his voice was rough. (And now I'm fanning myself.)
Wow, got lost there, totally forgot my point. :o) But yes - in this fic, I will write the whole sex part more realistically and less drawn out because it's fiction and it's fun to do it that way.
Thanks, as always, for the thoughtful review! And hey - when are you going to post something new??

Very nice! Now where's the rest of it!? :-D
Author's Response:
AHA! I shall blackmail you - I'll post the rest when you update yours! :o) I'm only kidding - I actually haven't written the rest yet. Usually I write really quickly, like a possessed fiend, but I'm forcing myself to go slower with this one.
Thanks for the review!

There seems to be little point in repeating over and over how talented you are, and how well you capture their voices and their pain. So I'll just say "Ouch!" and revel in the angst.
Author's Response: You are too kind, darling, too kind. And by the way - I loved your review of TV_Buffy's Ever After. So succinct, so to the point....so damn right. :o)

Keep going, I like this and you have better outcomes then the show.:)
Author's Response:
Thank you so much! I tell you, much as they're killing us (and poor Jim - and Pam, too), I fully believe that they'll bring them together. They will. THEY WILL, RIGHT??
Thanks for your review!

I've got to echo proposals here and just marvel at how prolific you are! Yeesh! Anyway, although it pains me that Jim is in such obvious denial, I know a fluffy steamy ending will eventually come. And they'll be in the sack approximately 3.2 minutes after getting back together!
Author's Response:
You kill me! I will say this: This story came to me with a sort of vision of the ending first. ....And that ending actually stems from the discussion on TWoP about how the time it takes for them to jump in the sack has steadily decreased over the course of my stories.
....And I'll say no more! Thanks for the review - you're awesome!

Goddamn, you are prolific, aren't you? I won't object though, because all of the stuff that you crank out is amazing. I'm excited to see how you deal with this whole situation. Update soon!
Author's Response: You are prolific with your reviews, and I really appreciate it! As for how I'll deal with it, I can give you two hints: 1) ROLE REVERSAL! It's Pam's turn to pine. and 2) Happy JAM ending. I'm totally incapable of writing anything else. :) Thanks again for the review!
