Loved, loved, loved it. I never get sick of reading different versions of what these two characters were thinking during this chapter in their story. Well done.

You hit it out of the ball park again!! I loved reading Jim's POV here, and especially loved:
"He was ready for the interview, completely mentally prepared when he realized who the one too many was. And he realized that being with the other was where he needed to be."
Awesome job!!!

This is so awesome. The first chapter was good, but the second was even better, and I have to admit that I was skeptical at the idea of adding to a one shot (which in my opinion rarely ends well) but you pulled it off beautifully. It probably doesn't hurt that I don't think I'll ever get enough first date fic either. ;) It's lovely the way it stands now, but if you wanted to continue this, I would be very eager to read it.

Absolutely LOVE this line:
Maybe she’d throw him against the door and kiss him like she meant it and let him know that the past was the past and that her future was his.

"Her fourth first date. With a man she'd longed for since she was with the man who'd been her first, first date."
What a great line. I loved this look at their first date - from Pam's preparations, wondering if she should dress like Karen to the shock and awe (loved that, too!) on Jim's face. Great job!!

LSKDFJSDLKJsdlfgg.
Yeah, you know, I still love you.
I realize that maybe me a little creepy (LOL) but authors of consistently squee-worthy stories deserve it.
(Um, that would be you, fyi. Clearing up any confusion.)
Author's Response: Oh ellie, you make me blush :) I just can't help it - I love me some squee-ness lol

That was wow, I LOVED it, like totally loved it. Would you continue?:)
Author's Response: With all of these great reviews, you guys are making me rethink this whole one-shot business lol.. Let me think about it - there's a few ideas brewing up in the ole' cranium that might need to be expressed via JAM fic :)

I know you wrote this as a oneshot, but honestly it would make for some great vignettes with lines from the song. You should think about it ;)
Author's Response: I know, I know... There are 2 more lines that I know would be great as starting points... I'll see what I can do :)

*sigh* That was always my favorite line of that song, and let me tell you--many of my high school night were spent laying in the bed of my best friend's truck and the two of us talking about how awesome it would be if we could find a guy who stood at our door when their hands on our waist and kissed us like they meant it. I'm so so so glad that Jim and Pam got that moment. Beautiful (as always), I just adore everything you write!
And, also, I totally meant this review.
Author's Response: Aww tuna, that was a sweet story! Thanks for the review :)
