I'm really enjoying this, EL - are there more chapters to follow? I like that she finds 'upgraded Roy' unnervingly hot! Roy, especially when he lost the weight, was pretty fine. Finally, this was so very sad, but definitely something I can see Pam thinking: She takes him inside her new home, into her new bedroom, into her, because she’s not the kind of girl that gets what she wants. *sniff*
Author's Response: i did not write any further chapters - but - wow. i like that idea! if you have any thoughts on what might come next, please email me! i will be totally honest. this whole thing came to be because of (a) how sad pam seemed to be driving michael home and (b) how crazy hot david denman looked in "diwali." i mean, for real. rnpoor pam. she was so tragic circa s3, i sort of miss that...

Oh, Emily, this is a killer--a fresh little scene that I haven't read about before, and I sure do like it.
She keeps experiencing this feeling, like her phone is vibrating with a reply text message, but it’s not. Phantom vibrations. Great little observation. Nice job, as always.
Author's Response: a fresh little scene that I haven't read about beforernoh yeah btw - this is AU. obviously. i don't think this happened on the show... huh. maybe i do, come to think of it. i like the idea that pam isn't perfect, and in fact makes poor choices because she's not sure what she's doing. i think that floating feeling is so real. and somehow... i've lost track of things :) thank you so much for your feedback!
