5) That was a really weird thing to tell you. I'm never mentioning it again.
17) Really. Don't ever talk to Dwight.
BWAHAHAHahahahahaaaaa! I love that you switched to Jim's letter for the ending. We don't need the gory details of the labor and delivery and we don't need real names. Hell, I still call my daughter Bundle more often than her name and she's five months old! Anyway, this just makes me look forward to the new season. Not that I'm wishing away the summer. But yeah, it'll be nice to see how the show handles it all. Yay show!

xoxoxo, I apologize for not reviewing sooner, but I wanted to wait until this fic was complete before giving my thoughts. I have followed since the beginning and would like to express what a wonderful job you have done with these letters. I feel as though you have captured Pam's voice perfectly in every chapter and have been intrigued as to where you have taken the character. There is a maturity that runs through the story, which is an absolute thrill to read. When I read you were incorporating Jim, I must admit, I was skeptical, but the last letter is simply beautiful and a lovely summary of everything that has come before it. Truly great job on such a wonderful piece. It is one to be proud of.
Author's Response: thatonenight - Thanks so much for your review. I really appreciate it. It means so much to me to know that something I loved came across exactly the way I intended. I always had the intention of letting Jim have the last word - but this journey really was Pam's. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

You love Jim so much. HA. This is absolutely adorable, and a PERFECT way to end this story. Beautiful. Yeah I do. Want to make something of it? :P Thank you so much! I am so glad you liked it.

What a clever idea to have Jim write and respond to Pam's letters. Awesome.
I especially loved 19 - 22. Congratulating himself for buying everything, explaining away the conception, and then that random cage match comment. Well done.

Amazing end to an amazing set of letters!
Author's Response: Thank you!!!!

Sorry to see this one end...it was like my pre-natal vitamin, awaiting the season premiere ;-) But, clever girl, ending with Big Daddy Halpert, tying back into Pam's earlier entries. This especially made me laugh - so random, yet somehow perfect:
I could totally take Bob Villa in a cage match.
And I love how you end it with such optimism about the adventure they're beginning together: simple, hopeful, delicious joy!
Author's Response:
Me too! I had a lot of fun pretending to be Pam.
Well Pam said Jim's no Bob Villa. I think he felt he had to defend himself a bit.
I'm so very glad you liked it. Thank you for going along for the ride.

Aaand there come the tears at number 25. Thanks for the great "ride", I'm sad it's over.
They really are going to be great aren't they?
Author's Response: I'm sad too. Thank you so much for tagging along. And yes - I do think they will be...well...perfect.

AMAZING!! I Just want to hug you right now... This idea was amazing... and it's been amazing to read it... however it makes me be even more less patient for September!!
Author's Response:
You're so sweet I'd like to hug you right back.
I know. I thought this would help me get it out of my system but...not so much. :)

Thank you for writing such an amazing story. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Please consider writing more.
Author's Response:
Hi kh&3! Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it.
I'm not sure if this particular idea has run it's course or not but we shall see. I'm sure I'll write more of something sometime soon. :)

AWWWWWWWWWW. Yes, I know that's not a very helpful/meaningful review but that's the only thing in my head right now. AWWWWWWW!! That and also 'Why must this end!?'. Okay, I understand why, but that doesn't make it any easier! Thank you so much for writing this, I will miss the updates because it was just so great. :D
Author's Response: I'll take AWWWWWWW. ;) I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the story. I was having a hard time letting this one go myself but it was time. You are most welcome. Thank you so much for reading. :)

Perfect.
That's all I can say. It's absolutely perfect.
Please write another story soon to help with my xoxoxo withdrawals :)
Author's Response:
Well that's a perfectly lovely thing to hear.
I don't doubt I'll have more to say at some point in time.
Stay tuned. :)

::sigh:: so sad to see this one end. I loved that you ended it with a letter from Jim. I'm sure Pam was a little tired by that point. lol. So adorable. This was a great idea!
Author's Response:
Yeah she was not really in the mood to write at that moment I don't think. I had always intended Jim to have the last word so to speak. I'm sooo glad that you enjoyed it!
Know how you can repay me? Write more Jill. :)

This has been such a delight to read, and the ending is too perfect. I've loved reading Pam's letters, but letting Jim have his say at the end is brilliant. You write them both with such humor and grace. Who wouldn't want parents like that? And Jim being all protective of the baby and crazy in love with Pam and signing the letter, "Love, Dad" just leaves me all melty inside.
And I don't care at all about the details that aren't in this. In fact, I think it's clever the way you worked around revealing any information that might be contradicted later. The important thing is that I really have a sense of Pam's emotional state and her feelings about the baby/pregnancy in every chapter, and the same with Jim in the last one. Very true to character and realistic.
Well done, my dear. Thanks for sharing this with us. It's been such a fun summer treat!
Author's Response:
OK - this is going to sound weird but bear with me. As I wrote this I was not only thinking about how much I'd love to do the same for one of my kids (if I ever have one but that's a whole other sordid tale for another time) but how I can't wait to see their baby.
I'm really ill. I think I have a definite problem. :)
But if I have to have a problem like this one - it helps to know that even with my obsession I'm able to convey what I intended to the people reading this story - basically that Jim and Pam are ridiculously in love and are both nervous as hell but cannot wait to meet this kid.
Alright. I'm babbling. Thank you so very much for your review and for reassuring me that not revealing all is just fine. The point of this story was exactly what you just described. To convey Pam's thoughts and emotions about her pregnancy (and of course - Jim) throughout. It was never about what happens after. Maybe some other time.
Jim and Pam both know what the baby's name is - and I think that's enough.

I have loved every chapter of this story. It's such a sweet and creative way to tell the story.
Jim's 8th point got me thinking. I wonder how protective Jim and Pam are going to be of their baby in terms of the camera crew. It will be interesting to see.
Thanks for the enjoyable ride!
Author's Response:
Thanks so much!
Yeah - you know - I was thinking about that a lot. Both Jim & Pam seem to be the only characters (besides Michael and maybe I guess - Dwight) who have a real bond with the camera crew - who actually connect with them in some way. It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens there.

::standing ovation from passenger seat--do not attempt this at home:: Glorious, Hugs, simply glorious. Perfect ending to such an enjoyable story. Well done, madam.
Author's Response:
Wow. A passenger seat ovation. I'm honored. And also wondering how that's even possible. LOL!
Thank you Nan. I'm so very glad you liked it.

Is it wrong I have a rediciously huge smile on my face? Or that firefox spell check couldn't even tell that I was trying to spell ridiculously in that previous sentence.
Oh, and babies are so seriously friggin small. They grow up to fast, but even still, it like scary how small they are when they are born. I get very very scared with newborns.
Okay, I'm off, trying to hide this huge smile from my mom, because explaining this whole fictional fictional baby thing is gonna not be pretty.
Author's Response:
Em - if she asks just tell her you're pregnant. Then when you tell her you're just kidding she'll forget about why she asked you in the first place. ;)

Have I told you lately how much I ADORE Daddy!Jim? A bunch. His heart is going to have to grow three sizes to handle how happy he is going to be to meet the baby he made with Pam.
They had better be auditioning those babies JK promised us back before S3.
*Having the last letter be from Jim is brilliant. Also, adorable.
Author's Response:
You may have mentioned it. I kind of wrote this because I was so overwhelmed by the adorableness of it all and needed some place to put it.
And thank you. It was always my intention to give Jim his day at the end - so it made me laugh when people asked for Jim's perspective as I went along.
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I really do appreciate it!

awww i kind of wished youd named the baby. but that was really, really great.. aww daddy jim *sighs* perfect
Author's Response: Confession. I never intended to name the baby. I'm sorry if that disappointed you at all. :( I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway! Thanks so much for the review!

I love Jim's letter to the baby, it's just so sweet and adorable!! =) You did a fabulous job on this story!
PS *SIGHS* I have to say this again, I can't wait for the season 6 to come! It's making me anxious! =)
Author's Response: Your review was so sweet and adorable. Thank you so much for reading along. I really appreciate it!

Awww. That was a great ending. I'm sad this is ending and we didn't get to find out the baby's name, but that's okay. Jim was adorable with his letter.
Author's Response: You'll find out the baby's name eventually - just not from me! I was really trying to make this 'realistic' which I know is kind of insane but still. I'm so very glad you enjoyed the story. Thank you so much for the review!

I love this story so much. It's one of my favorite Office fics ever. It's just so good.
I'm sad it's ending, but I can't wait to see the baby.
Author's Response: Well thank you so much! I'm sad it's ended too - but it was time I think. :)
