I'll be honest...when I first opened up this story I thought -- oh no, amnesia...BUT, I think you had me at Jim taking care of his kids. Bath time and bed time...that'll do it every time for me. I have a feeling this is going to be really great, seeing how Pam falls in love with her husband. I'm excited for the next chapter! Good stuff.
Author's Response: I know the idea of amnesia is a little cliche. But I really wanted to write about Jim and Pam falling in love all over again, without repeating all the other fanfics out there. So, I was watching 50 first dates and the idea came to me. And of course I have to add babies! I love baby fics, which makes september surreal! Thank you so much for reading... I hope to update soon!

Wow! This is crazy good!
I can't wait for her to remember again, though!
More please! ;)
Author's Response: Thank you soo much for reading! Pam will remember things... keep reading to see how much (teaser, I know)! I'll promise to update soon!

Okay, really enjoying this. I loved that Pam got to meet her babies. Even though she is having memory trouble, she and Jim did a fabulous job at tag teaming so that, for the kids, mom was back.
Looking forward to more memories with the Halperts.
Author's Response: I glad you're enjoying it! I think while I was writing this chapter, my focus was on Pam meeting the kids. Whether she remembers them or not, they are little parts of her. I'm enjoyinh writing memories with the Halperts! Thanks for reading!

Wow, I'm really loving this. Pam meeting the kids today really sealed the entire feeling of this story, this genuine warmth that just completely fills your eyes and stomach. I like how you are handling the situation so far and I look forward to what happens next. I'm sure there will be struggles, but it's great to see the connection that is there even without the memories that they'll be able to rely on.
Author's Response: My focus on this chapter was Pam meeting the kids. It is a powerful moment to "meet" someone that is a part of you, and I'm glad that I got that point across. There will be little strugles, but how long can Pam and Jim stay mad at each other? Yeah, not too long! Pam and Jim will always have a connection...at least in all my stories (Karen who? Roy who?).... hehehe! Thanks for reading!

honestly, one of the best stories on the site, and very near and dear to this girls heart. thank you so much for this!!
Author's Response: Thank you very much... I just want to give you a big hug!!

hey, this is sort of a big deal for me. My dad suffered a brain injury a while back from an accident, and lost memory, and reading this is really great for me. I just wanted you to know how awesomely therapeutic your writing is. thank you!
Author's Response: I'm Flattered that this fanfic served a purpose beyond my expectations. I'm really happy to be writing this becuase it is also an outlet for me as well. Thank you so much for reading, I hope to update soon!

Yes, I was so happy for this one to return. I love that Jim and Pam have to get to know each other again. I really love this.
Author's Response: I'm happy to be writing this... Jim and Pam are my favorite characters of all time... and writing about them falling in love AGAIN... is awesome.. thanks for reading!
Date: July 08, 2009 04:57 pm Title: Ellie was a bit of a surprise
Ellie and Ben are the cutest. Okay, no, some of my real life kids beat them, because if I ever said completely fictional kids were cuter than real ones, I'd obviously have lost it, but still. Loving this, and really can't wait for chapter 4!
Author's Response: Thank you soo much... Don't worry, I don't think you lost it... yet...jk! couldn't have done it without you!
Date: June 30, 2009 08:34 pm Title: Beesly—I call you that sometimes
I am glad that you updated this story. Very nice how even though she doesn't remember, Pam remains connected to Jim. Now, about these babies...
Author's Response: Thank you for reading.. The babies will be here shortly!

Still with you! I'm enjoying the ride.

i like this idea! really creative and different! looking forward to seeing pam regain her memory haha :)
Author's Response: I’m definitely looking forward to writing a lot of Jim and Pam interactions that make Pam regain her old self one step at a time. Thanks for reading…
Date: June 27, 2009 10:08 am Title: Beesly—I call you that sometimes
oooh I hope pam gets her memory back soon! I really love her subconscious connection to Jim.
Author's Response: Prnam and jim have been through a lot, and there is a deep connection between them... meaning:there are lots of things to remember.. wink, wink! rnThanks for reading!

I love that, even though Pam isn't herself anymore, she's still Pam. The little details that you put in really make her seem familiar, like how she loves being around Jim, and her reaction to finding out about the kids. Not sure if that makes sense, so I'll finish this up now. Please update soon, I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: rnI always try to keep Jim and Pam in character even if I throw a curve ball at them. I usually can't relate to them if they are not their perfect little selves... (Does that make me weird?). It make sense to me! I will update as soon as possible...Thanks for reading!

Loved the movie 50 First Dates and love the idea here. The line about him calling her Beesley, was wonderful and a little heartbreaking. Are you going to have Pam relearn everything or will her memory be triggered a couple of times to bring back the good stuff? I can't wait to learn more about the kids, please right more soon!
Author's Response: rnThe Beesly idea was one of my first because it's second nature to Jim and it's also his affectionate way to refer to her. With Pam remembering.. as I mentioned before, things here and there will trigger her memory... As to what's going to happen after.. You'll have to wait and see! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! Don't worry about learning more about the kids because I'm a sucker for Jamrnbabies! I love them! SO EXCITED FOR SEPTEMBER!! There will be alot about them...rnThanks for reading!

This chapter was SO good! I'm glad that Pam is receptive. I love the part you put in about her feeling safer with him around. It shows the strength of their connection. I hope Pam starts to remember things soon!!
Can't wait for next chapter :)
Author's Response: rnThank you very much! Pam, with or without remembering Jim, will always have a connection to him (at least in my stories) I'm a sucker for fluff... As for Pam remembering things.. well, all I'm going to say is that there were "items" that were very memorable to her...I will update as fast as possible.

I like this fic and the idea that she has to re-fall in love with Jim again. That would be really cute! I just hope that doesn't happen every day!
Author's Response: I love the idea of Jim making Pam fall in love with him all over again. It kind of brings back the second season adorableness... I love the unspoken love they had... Unlike the movie, it will not happen everyday... She remembers everything from now on... and mayb will remember somethings?? wink, wink...

Dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuh, Love it. I can't wait for the kids to meet Pam and vice versa.
Awesome job!
Author's Response: Thanks... I know...I'm writing a lot of their interactions right now (Pam and the kids) It's so much fun! Jam babies are awesome to write about!

I have been wanting and waiting for a fic like this, so reading this today made my day. I love Ellie and Ben, and Jim as a Daddy always warms my heart. I can't believe she can't remember him. I cannot wait to read more.
Author's Response: I was looking through the reviews and just noticed that I hadn't replied to yours.... I apologize for that! Thank you for taking your time to read and review when you did... I feel awful for not replying sooner! I'm happy you liked the idea of the fic... thank you!

Wow, so I finally got to read this, and I think you made some great changes. Not that it wasn't good before, but man, it really works as it is now.
Author's Response: Oh thanks... couldn't have done it without your help... it's been great reading all your comments, even the ones that say "commma" hahaha... I will be sending more soon...

What a cool concept! I have to say that I was relieved to see that this wasn't a story where Pam dies! haha those always make me cry. The only criticism I have (and it isn't really a criticism at all), is that there's a line in there where Jim faints that refers to it as 'metal exhaustion'--you prob. want to change that to 'mental' haha! Great job, looking forward to more :)
Author's Response: Thanks Liv... I've had this idea ever since I re-watched 50 first Dates... and I couldn't get it out of my head... And I don't think I could kill Pam. I always bawl like a baby when Pam or Jim dies... I Can't bring my self to a dark enough place to do it... Props to those who can! Thanks for the "metal" note...hahaha! I will be updating soon!rnrn-D

Oh no... please let this be some kind of cruel prank that Pam is playing. If not, I'm going to hope for a happy ending and some quick updates. :)
Author's Response: I'm a big believer in happy enddings! (Did I just give my story away?)... I will me trying my best to updated soon...
