Yay! I love this sentiment, and I love the sentence, too.I love that Pam didn't quit, she decided. It's a huge difference. Pam had learned from her time with Roy, and her time with Jim, and what she learned is that you have to move forward to make yourself happy. What else is there? This is lovely, simply lovely.

Hey there, Freckleface! What a lovely first Office fic you've written. I enjoyed this little visit inside Pam's mind. Nice that it wasn't a Roy-bashing fic but rather a realization by Pam that she doesn't have to settle. You made me feel her growing joy as she neared home. Nice job.

I really like this- like a lot. I look forward to reading more from you! Right? I always thought in her mind Pam was thinking that she was doing it for herself when she said she didn't come back because of Jim. Love how you added Roy into the story.
Author's Response: Exactly- I always thought that she really was telling the truth when she said she didn't come home for him- she missed him, but that wasn't the whole reason. Thanks so much! :)
