that was so beautiful, i loved how you wrote about the intimacy of their baby's touch, the swelling of their child pressed against them and how those few seconds would change their life forever. great job! this was perfect!

completely unrelated question: do you have any multi-chapter stories, or are they all one-shots? i'm just curious, as on the first page of your stories list i didn't see any. just wondering....

Oh man, when I read the first sentence for some reason (I'm blaming it on fatigue) I read it as, "I'm going to LEAVE you forever," and I thought...what a horrible thing to say - she must be talking to Roy...but then NO! She was talking to Jim...and then I started to panic...what kind of crazy stuff was I reading?! So then I went back to the beginning....Oh she's going to LOVE him forever.

Oh well that's MUCH better. ;-) And indeed it was. 

This was beautiful.  I'm so glad you shared your random thoughts with us.  You never disappoint.

wow, that was kind of different from things i've read before, but that makes it truly unique - it a great way. i love the raw emotion that i was able to feel between them, even in such a short piece, and i'm really in awe of you, how you could convey so much in so little. great job, unfold!
