OMG "He got very quiet, and then told me that he would never, ever become a hunter because a hunter could shoot a deer that was someone's mom and not even know it."
That was so cute. Cute little Jimmy :(
Author's Response: Aww, thank you! I really appreciate the review.

My eyes started to tear up as I read about Jim being sad over the man shooting Bambi's Mom. Poor Jim. Poor Bambi's Mom. I'm glad he watched Jungle Book next and not Old Yeller.
Author's Response: Oh man, I don't think I know anyone who doesn't turn into a wreck over Old Yeller. He definitely needed a happy movie. Thanks for the feedback!

I really like the concept of this. I think it would be beneficial to think about trying to putmore "you" into the story you just seem kind of disconnected from it. overally I love jimmy and can't wait to hear more!!
Author's Response: That's a really good idea. I'll try to think about that more for the next update. I'm glad you like it! Thanks for the feedback.

aww, so cute. i think this is the first story i've ever read set from jim's parents pov, i like it. though i must admit i thought it was michael scott being referred to at the beginning! anyway, this is very well written, i can tell that this is an older person, or one from a older time period, great job with that, and i can't wait for more chapters! it would be great if they were a little longer too!
Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback! I realized that I probably should have picked a different name for Jim's father but I was drawing a blank. There will be more chapters soon, and I'll keep in mind what you said about being longer.
