So I was pointed back here (I've read it before) by the MTT Facebook page, and I'm really glad I was. This is just such a delightful in-character mini AU and I love the resolution of it.
My favorite moment is when she notices that "Roy took the truck." She asked him to finish dinner and instead he's outta there, not considering that this could be resolved if he'd just be considerate. Such a good detail, so accurate to them both though.

i loved this. it was early enough in their ordeal that it didn't have to be too intense. my favorite line was pam's "I liked kissing Jim," or something to that effect. just great!

I have to agree - even though this was a standalone for the Taking A Chance series - this could very well be a multi chapter - just saying ;)

Reading all these Taking a Chance fics makes me way nervous for mine. I don't think I can do it as well as everyone else has! It's awesome! :D

Wow This was really good. As I was reading it I kept glancing at the little bar to the right noticing how it was getting towards the end but they weren't close to being together yet, and then you came through! I understand the point of the Taking a Chance series, but any chance you might continue this? I know i'd love to read more.
