You hear this at every other wedding, and it still gets me every time - and then you manage to bring new life to it with these little glimpses of Jam! I really liked Jim acknowledging that, yes, the house thing was a misstep no matter how well she chose to receive it, and I *adore* the fact that the note from The Job was her something old. Instant and permanent headcanon.
I know what you mean about having to make the time to dig back into the show - there are so many cool concepts for fic that are complicated by the fact that you have to watch, you know, 30 hours of television to get started on them. Here's hoping you're able to carve out the time!

This is already so beautiful by itself, but it's even further enhanced by the fact that TPTB used this same passage for that amazing S9 "Paper Airplane" scene! (maybe a writer saw this and was influenced, who knows?)

It's funny - every wedding I've ever been to has used this passage to the point where sometimes, it loses its meaning on me. But this just brought it back home because if any couple epitomises this kind of love - it's these guys! This is so sweet and so romantic and *sniff* so lovely *sniff*.
I'm not crying! I'm not! I honestly don't think I will ever be this emotional for another real life wedding. Including my own...;) Thank you for this :)

i will be brutally honest with you here. normally i can't stand the 55 word drabbles but this was absolutely perfect! i loved how you evenly showed both jim and pam's sides, and how the words seemed to effortlessly pair together. great job!

*melts* My husband & I (like half the world, apparently) chose this reading too -- because at Mass one day, the pastor told us 'substitute the name of your partner for the word Love'. Hubby thinks it's terribly funny to say things like 'Lisa is patient'. Oh well, we laugh at the same things, it keeps us together.
Meanwhile, back to you -- this is made of awesome. Just what I need to hold me over for another day.
