Sweeter than candy. I love Kenzie and Owen and the fluffy Halpert outing. Have you thought of writing another one in this series? You know you've for sure got my review. =)

You are so good at fluff! This was really cute -- MacKenzie sounds adorable, I love the shyness and how she clings to her parents, especially daddy. I'm glad Dwight and Angela got married and I loved hearing about all the other Dunder-Mifflinites. =)
Author's Response: Thanks for all your reviews today. I'm definitely planning to respond to the rest really soon. I'm really glad you liked this little fluffy thing. There's another story in this series if you want to read more about Mackenzie and Owen, and if you like fluff you should try A Brief History of Grape Soda. And yes, as you can see I am not above a self-pimp every now and then. ;) Anyway, thanks again for letting me know how much you enjoyed it. Reviews are the best!!!

Awww...Jim & Pam with their little Halperts is so darn adorable. I love seeing them as parents and interacting with D-Mers. Lovely story.
Author's Response: Yeah, I really liked having them see all the Dunder-Mifflin-ites too. There might be more of that in future stories in this series. Thanks for the review!

I love Halpert family fluff.. Especially when it involves tigers that could "eat Daddy in one bite!" ^______^
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

"Oh, Australia." He let out a little sigh. "I sat on a beach and thought about you and Owen."
"Did you miss me?"
"Yes," he answered seriously.
"A lot?"
"Baby, you have no idea."
Azlin, that gave me the chills. I love Jim! This was really sweet and a lot of fun to read. I'm looking forward to more! Also, i love the name Owen- I've thought for years now that my first son might be named James Owen- sort of fit in with this story!
Author's Response: Thanks! I loved those lines too. Okay, story time: I was sitting in my editing class on Wednesday and I was really bored, so I decided to write out an entire Halpert/Beesly pedigree for this story, complete with middle names. Guess what I picked for Owen's? That's right, he was officially Owen James Halpert before I even got this review! ;) And since I'm not sure these names will ever make it into the actual story, it's Mackenzie Nicole, just in case you're interested!

I love the Halpert family. Very nice fic. Right amount of fluff and fun. I really enjoyed it.
Author's Response: Oh good, I was worried about O.D.ing on the fluff in this one, but I'm so glad you liked it! They're such a fun family to write!

FUN!!! Love the fluff! Keep it coming. McKenzie is so way cute...you've got 5-year-old voice so down!
Author's Response: So, I sound like a five-year-old. Um...thank you? I think. Just kidding, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Oh please keep them coming Azlin!! I love babyfic so much I can't even describe the joy...for realsies.
:)
Author's Response: Aw, thanks PamPongChamp! I'm so glad you enjoyed it because it was a blast to write!

I like your changes! What a nice family kind of story. I want to give Owen a hug.
Great callback to unflinchingly rigid! The Halpert house has good rules.
Author's Response: Yep, the Halpert house has some good rules, but that's partly because Azlin has a great beta. ;) I'm sure if Owen met you he'd want to give you a hug too. Except that he's a little shy around strangers.

Just wanted to say I love that you named their son Owen. That's my little boy's name (7 1/2 months). Great story (and series...loved The Zoo too.)
Author's Response: Oh, how cute! I love the name Owen. :) Thanks for the review! I'm so glad you liked them!

This is so cute! You've done a really great job characterising Mackenzie; so many authors make children Mary Sues, but Mackenzie seems just like a normal child. I'm so glad that Jim and Pam are together now. I like that this is a feasible possibility for a show. (That's pretty optimistic. LOL.)
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm trying to keep Mackenzie as real as possible, but I'll confess, you've been getting a lot of her good/cute moments, I don't think real children are always this much fun. And yeah, isn't it awesome to think that this could really happen for Jim and Pam!

Between TwoLateKev's help with children and your awesome writing skills, these Halpert family stories are so much fun to read! Yay for happy Halpert family fluff!
Author's Response: Thank you! They're so much fun to write too! I love happy fluff, I love Jam, and I love writing so win-win-win!
Date: June 06, 2007 07:14 pm Title: The Zoo
Lovely. Just like I imagine Jim and Pam might be as parents.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much. I really wanted to try to keep their personalities intact, so I'm glad it fit with how you imagined them as parents!

Yay! More family JAM!!!
This is totally not at all anything important... but, in freshman year, I met a girl named Macky. And, so, I always figured, if I had a girl, I would name her Mackinzie and call her Macky. And, so, reading Kinzie is like whoa. And the strangest part of that is I really didn't like Macky!!! "Yes, I named you after that B*tch Macky.." yeah, that wouldn't go over so well.
Haha, all rules of importance are unflinchingly rigid :)!!!!
Tickle fights are so much fun...
So, I spend some of my days with a 22 month old, who still hasn't quite mastered the talking thing yet (he is getting better)... so if I haven't given you the dictionary, here it is (of course, I may be spelling them differently now)
ba - ball or book. There is a difference in the ba's but it is minor and can't be typed
ain (accompanied by pointing widly at the sky) - plane or other thing that he calls a plane which includes helicopters and other noisy flying things
bye - bye
uh oh - uh oh
wah - i am being a fusspot and just want to complain about something
hehe, i had fun with that!!!
GirlCrush moment - Pam would look great in boxers and tank top!!
I basically have learned I can't bring my cell phone or keys out around my 22 month old (and by my I mean the I love him to death, but i get to return him to his parents), because he will not stop fussing until he gets to play with it. i totally need to figure out if I can do key lock on it, because he has tried to call everyone in my phone book and some other odd numbers as well. but it can keep him happy and busy for hours at a time... so... hum... (keys only last about an hour).
Sleeping kids are the best kids. When all kids are sleeping its even better. My (again the I only have them for 8 hours a day), its like, yay! one down for a nap. Wait, I still gtta deal with the bickering older two... sigh
So, no tickling the driver, but yesterday I did smack the driver of a car. A fake smack. But, she was cheering on the MARLINS! We just went to a BRAVES game, IN ATLANTA, and she was cheering on the enemy. She deserved to me smacked. I smacked her a lot. But, I think the hardest I did it barely made her ponytail move, so really, not bad... but she totally deserved it.
I want more family fics! They are just too cute!
Author's Response:
Yes!!! EmilyHalpert reviews are the best!
Oddly enough, my friend's sister who is also my sister's friend is named Mackenzie and we call her Kenzie or Kenz, but this same friend wants to name her daughter Mackayla, and call her Macky. Or she did a couple years ago anyway. She's expecting her first in December, so I guess I'll wait to see what she actually decides about the name issue.
I'll keep the 22-month-old vocab handy.
GirlCrush: yeah, she totally would!
Sorry about your enemy-cheering driver. My dad does that too. Whenever my mom's cheering for the Padres, he'll root for whoever they're playing against just to get her all riled up. It's pretty funny to watch, but I've never been brave enough to try it myself.
Anyway, I'm so glad you liked this! These stories are soooo fun to write!

I love this. Love it. It's fluffy and sweet and I could totally picture their lives happily ever after. Whenever I need to smile - I'll read this!
Also - I love the tickle rules! We have three kids and similar rules in our house!!
Author's Response:
Aw, I'm so glad I could make you smile! Now I'm smiling just thinking about you smiling. Smiles all around! :D
And yeah, I totally lifted the "please don't" rule from my own family.

Hey, this is quite good. I'm not usually one for "Jim and Pam have kids" stories, but that's only because I'm only just getting my head around the idea that they are really going to get together! :)
So many nice images here, but I think my favorite is Jim sitting on a beach in Australia, imagining Pam in her different wedding dresses with different husbands. I really liked that one.
Very good work!
Author's Response:
Let me see if I can help you with this. THEY'RE GETTING TOGETHER, THEY'RE GETTING TOGETHER, THEY'RE GETTING TOGETHER!!!! Just keep saying it to yourself all summer long and savor the sweetness of a TV couple actually getting together before the last season. And if they pull some stupid stunt on us after I've enjoyed an entire summer of thinking all is well in Jam-ville I will personally throttle Greg Daniels with my bare hands. Hm... maybe I'm taking this a little too far, but you get the idea.
Thanks for the review!

This was so cute! I love Kenzie - what a sweetheart she must be - and no doubt truly a "Daddy's Little Girl".
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm adding another Mackenzie/Owen story tonight if you'd like to read more!

Aww, love the fluff! and it's really funny that you should choose the name mackenzie, because i was thinking that i definitely want to name my future daughter that. yes, i'm weird. i think of baby names in my spare time.
Author's Response: Are you kidding? I totally do that ALL the time. But most of the names I'd use for my future girls (Charlotte, Olivia, Ella, Aster...) just didn't sound right with Halpert to me. I mean, I like Mackenzie too, it just wouldn't be my first choice. But I think it worked for the story! Thanks for the review!

Very nice and sweet story. You nailed the JAM interaction and I felt bad for poor Kelly.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm so glad it still felt in character for Jam even so far into the future. :)

Awww...that was so cute. I love the Halpert clan out and about. I hope you do continue it into a series. great job.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm so glad you liked it. And I think there will probably be more to this, but I don't really know how soon I'll get around to writing it, so I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up.
