Everything is so intense and awkward but deliciously so. It's at the point where I know these characters but I have absolutely no idea what they're going to do next and the tension is killing me. But the description of how Pam saw everything after she'd been knocked out made me feel like I had a concussion (drawing on any personal experiences there?!). And then she's all insecure and then he's saying he's scared and then...and then they're kissing and WOW. I LOVE THIS.

Ahh I got so excited to see this updated. I was kind of surprised at how...cold...Jim was at some points. I know he's mad at her, but I figure all that would go out the window at a point like this, so it was nice to hear him say she scared him. LOVE the ending!

Since we don't know what he's thinking until the end, having Jim act distant is a nice continuity, since he's feeling somewhat better, he would go back to you're-not-getting-through-my-wall!Jim. You could see holes in it, then WHAM! He had his wake up call, I think, when he admitted, out loud, that she scared him. For all he knew before he got to her, she could have been dead and can you imagine what kind of freak out was happening in his mind. Yikes!
Poor Pam through most of it, not knowing what is going on inside his head and just wanting some kind of physical contact. Glad she got it :)

First off, I've missed you. So stop having a life and spend more time in this world. ;)
Second of all it's Monday morning in my timezone, so it made it all the better to finally see a new chapter from you! Those are the best kinds of Monday.
And thirdly. Um. Yeah the cliff hanger you did a few chapters ago, that one gave me a heart attack. I think this one has just put me into some weird kind of coma. I'm still conscious but if for one second I think about how dramatic, sudden and intense this ending is, if I think about how excited, nay, desperate for the next chapter I am, I think I may actually spontaneously combust. So my brain has shut down in shock.
Just in case you didn't get what I was trying to say....wow. Just....WOW.

While chapter 9 is same day as chapter 1, I have to let you know, I didn't really take note of that until you mentioned it. The reason for that is most certainly the fact that you are doing an amazing job of advancing the story and giving me lots to stay interested in NOW in the story.
