Holy moley, how can this be your first fic? Powerful story, totally believable! I love how it jumps back and forth between their thoughts. Somehow you tap my hearts desire for them. :)
Author's Response: We must have the same taste in fic, I mostly just write what I wish I could read :-) thanks for your review!

The scene of Jim leaving the parking lot alone after Pam drives away with Angela has always been one of the saddest moments in Season 3. This captured the "what if" moment there perfectly. My only suggestion is that you do consider doing a second chapter to this, especially since the writing is so well done
Author's Response: You wrote this review 6 years ago and it's still something I'm thinking about...felt about time to thank you for it :-) one of these days!

Beautiful. I always wondered what if Jim had taken Pam home as well. And that moment where he loses himself and kisses her... tingles. You do great work. Keep it up!

i would love to see a part two of this!
Author's Response: when i started this story it was clearly just a one-shot to me--this story exists in an alternate universe where the only change is that jim drives pam home instead of angela. but your review has made me slightly reconsider. i don't know if i'll end up writing (or posting) a part two, but i've started to kick ideas around :) anyway, i'm glad you liked it!

Thrilled to see another story from you, sky. You chose a delicious scenario to explore and executed it so well. Such longing in these two.
Congrats to you on finally posting these great stories! Feel free to keep going :D
Author's Response: Hearts, hearts, hearts for you! Thanks for reading and I'm really psyched to hear that you liked this one, too :)
