This is so beautiful! I loved the part about Cece waking up at 4am and telling a half asleep Jim about ponies. I love that he knows he's not perfect, and I really feel like you realistically illustrated here how imperfect of a father he is. The final paragraph is so touching and sweet, it made me choke up a bit over here. You have a great way with words and imagery, I really feel like I saw all of this happening in my head. Very well done, and the last line is absolutely the best. Touching and sweet. Well done! Write more things soon!
Author's Response: You don't know how much I appreciate hearing this! This little one shot just came to me and I felt like I had to write it down. Jim isn't perfect, he's a guy, but he's crazily in love with his child and he does his best. That was my goal. Thank you so much for your lengthy review and taking the time to do so. I am greatly in appreciation.

Very sweet. I really like that you have Jim "refusing to romanticize" the sleepless nights. And of course Cece has Jim wrapped around her finger. But it's sweet that he doesn't think he's the perfect dad. I bet Pam and Cece think he is.
Author's Response: Thanks so much andtheivy! So many stories have Jim and Pam romanticizing this notion of bringing home Cecelia, and anyone whose been around an infant knows that it's simply not the case. It's hard for about 4-6 months. Thank you so much for the review, I simply loving hearing what you have to say. And you're right...Jim is the perfect Dad to Cece and Pam :)

AWW! That is one of the cutest and sweetest Jim's one-shot at Cecelia's third birthday. But at the same time, it's a little bittersweet that time goes fast, we all know it does. Awesome job writing this!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Bittersweet was definitely what I was trying to capture, the world just moving so quickly around him when he's trying to savor the moment. As life usually does, it just tugs us along. I love hearing what you have to say, so thank you for the review!
