I wanted to tell you how much I loved this story. I think I mentioned this in the main forum. The way the story flows -- and how you captured Jim and Pam -- so easy in your dialogue. "Jim: Am I going to miss something?" Gold. You made me believe that Jim visited Pam that night. I hope that writing is in your future, because you have the gift.

Ah I missed you! This was just sweet and sexy and...great. There's almost nothing I love more in the realm of fanfic than drunk Jim. I think all of us have this idea in our heads of how kind of adorable he'd be. This hit just the right note for me! Thanks so much!

So so sorry for the delay in reading/reviewing. This is exquisite! Purely wonderful. I feel like it was an actual scene on the show. I love drunk Jim as you've described here, he's adorable! Perfectly in character, and the love just oozes off the screen. I adored this, so so well written. This part was my favorite:
She leans on the frame, her glasses resting on the end of her nose. He sobers up for this moment, when it's her on the night before the rest of their lives, her in her pjs still a little angry, with a wedding dress in the closet, a toothbrush in her hand, a coworker sleeping on the floor beside her. They'd begun as only that. She is ordinary and beautiful tonight, both at once, carrying their child, real life in the midst of a time so profoundly unreal, exactly right.
I'm adding it to favorites. Please write more things soon! *claps wildly*

I don't know how you managed to make a line that includes "torn scrotums" sound like something out of a fairy tale, but you did.
This is just perfect DrunkJim and I love that Pam was endeared yet still pissed.

Aw this is very sweet indeed and exactly what I'd be wanting someone to write since the episode aired! I think it's pretty much assumed that Jim's an adorable drunk and even though getting drunk the night before his wedding is much more of a Roy thing to do, it's Jim and he's cute when he's drunk so we'll forgive him :)

Oh kaat, this is awesome. This may be one of the best Drunk!Jims I've ever read. Love the detail of how he's all wet, the cousin he only remembers from second grade, and "What what what what?" made me laugh out loud and get some weird looks from fellow Olive Garden patrons. Poor Pam's weird night, her semi-irritation, and the two of them talking, the way he's stroking her and just so happy? Wonderful. My favorite part might be Jim going, "I might hit you, man." LOL. Great job!
