Aww, this is incredibly sweet. I loved how you had Pam reassure him, basically saying, hey, doesn't matter where or how, just that was you. I believe it was quoted in other reviews but I loved the line where Pam says she'd marry him in a dump on fire during a blizzard. That made me smile.
One, tiny tiny nitpick because you said it's okay to be honest. The Cece splashing bit doesn't really have anything to do with the rest of the story and in the context of your focusing on Jim's apprehension towards how he proposed, it could have been cut. That said, I shouldn't be nitpicky because you really can never have too many Daddy/Cece moments. The imagery of Cece splashing was just adorable.
Congrats on your first fic, I hope you decide to write more!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I went back and forth about leaving the splashing talk in but ultimately went with it for 2 reasons. 1- We never get to see Daddy Jim on the show and 2- I think it's in fitting with Jim and Pam to go from having a casual, fun conversation to something more serious. For example, Casino Night or Chair Model. Two serious conversations that started with joking around. That's why I left it in. I think sometimes Jim needs a buffer.

I was waiting for a fic like this after last's week episode, and yours didn't disappoint at all! Of course Pam thought it was perfect, and of course Jim would worry about it after his coworkers' comments! And baby Cece splashing his dad was a bonus :D I'm glad you decided to write, and I hope to read more of you here :)

I don't have time for a super long review, lots of running around left to do. But I just wanted to let you know this is adorable, spot on and I love that Jim is questioning how he proposed to Pam and if she really did think it was perfect. Lovely lovely. Hope you have more stories on the way soon!
