Ahh! Sorry that it's taken me so long to get around to commenting on this. I really enjoyed this glimpse of Jim's family. They've given us a pretty good idea of who Pete and Tom are, so I like how you've given us an idea of who the rest of the family is and how they interact. It's nice to see how well Pam fits, and I love the way you wrote her relationship with Larisa. Nicely done :)
(Oh! And I forgot to add that I liked the hints about Jim buying the house-- especially Betsy's "they're just weird people" comment. haha)
Author's Response: No worries at all my friend! I got a sense that Pam fit in really well with the family, just by the way Pete and Tom act at the wedding, and the way Jim's parents and Pam are just standing there, I don't know, it just seemed like they were all close. Or at least that's what I would hope (if these were real people). So many more things on the way to your inbox, stay tuned! :) Thank you for getting this started.

I love reading about the two of them celebrating birthdays, and this was so sweet. I can definitely see Pam surprising Jim by showing up like this. :-) (Also, good job making the bluetooth his present!)
Author's Response: Thank you! I am so happy that you caught the bluetooth reference! I don't think the pickles and Swiss cheese thing really went through, but I didn't want to change it since this was written a long time ago. It's great to hear that you enjoyed this, thank you so much! :)

Mind? Seriously? I am just loving the activity in the archive. I also love being a fly on the wall at this family meal. I enjoyed feeling like an insider, knowing all the things to come--the house, the baby, the wedding.
Here's an idea I would love to see you expand upon: “There’s joy in his eyes now. I know you put it there.” When Jim and Pam finally got it together, this was one of the things I would think about--his family's reaction to his happiness after all the sadness. Surely they noticed the change.
Thank you, once again, lovey, for helping to get things moving again. xxx
Author's Response: Nancy, I love that idea and just put it in my big idea folder. Thank you! I've got it all mapped out and everything. I'm so happy to be part of the getting the archive going event that we're trying to make happen. We don't get enough of this family, or their extended family, so hopefully there will be more of these stories popping up with more insight. Thanks, again, the idea is going to work out wonderfully. Much appreciated! :)

So glad you're posting great new stuff to read. I am really missing Jim and Pam this season and here too. THANKS!
Author's Response: Thanks! I've been missing Jim and Pam this season, a lot. I'm glad we have this place to come to, and I'm so happy that I can contribute and give you all something to read. I really appreciate hearing from you, and hope to hear from you again soon! :) Thank you

Post away my friend, when your stories are as awesome as this, I want and need more of them LOL. I really enjoy fics with Jim's family. I don't know what it is... but I just find them cute, especially when he's being all big brother to Larissa, or smart alecy with his mom :) MOREEEE!
If you want any suggestions for this series, you know I have LOTS lol
Author's Response: LOL I would love your suggestions, that would be wonderful! Right now I've got about 4 ideas on the stove, so hopefully I'll get to all of them. I'm really happy you enjoyed this little thing. Thank you my dear! :)

Me again! Because I'm outraged this doesn't have a review! I like the idea of Pam surprising Jim on his 30th (as demonstrated by me writing a similar thing years ago because I love the idea so much!) but you added so much more to it. I've never dared do much about Jim's family but you make Larissa sound like such an intriguing character. And quite honestly, I so badly want to be a part of their family because they seem so warm. :(
And yes all boys are idiots. In some shape or form, they all have a little idiot inside them....
Author's Response: Thank you Jess! Not sure what the hold up was with reviews for this, but it's all good. I still can't figure out how to add my stories to the series. Anyways, I now fully appreciate that we were unknowingly on the same wavelength back when I wrote this! I want to be a part of their family too! Thank you kindly! :)
