This is haunting. In the best of ways. The repitition really gives it a drive that makes it sort of echo, long after the final line is through - it's heatbreaking, really, to think that it could have been - (should have been?) - like this.

My one "concrit" isn't even that - I think that the final line would hit a little harder if it were on it's own line. But that's just me liking spaces. ;)

Yes, indeed, it should have been like this! But there will be a moment like that soon where Pam just realizes and takes a chance and she'll finally KNOW.
I had to chuckle about the last line thing. There had been a huge back and forth a few weeks ago about single sentence paragraphs, which in general, I don't use. But yeah, you may be right. I usually write these one shots quick, slap them up, and always see a few things to change. I'll take another look at it. Thanks for your review!

So. Moving. The whole thing, really, but I personally found that line to be incredibly striking! This is pure genius. Please quit your job and start churning out fanfic constantly. I loved the style of this; it reads really easily and is unique and very poignant! You're fantastic!
Author's Response: Thank you GreenEyes! Judging by the amount of work I've gotten done lately, I think I have virtually given it up for fanfic! That line was one of my 2 favorites and I just loved the idea that FINALLY they might get it together and never have to worry about being apart again. And I've definitely had that feeling in real life. I'm happy to have moved you!

I'm supposed to be working, but I thought I'd just skim this quickly - then my heart was in my mouth while I read the first few lines. This is simply exquisite - it's more like poetry than prose. Just simple, beautiful - perfect. If this doesn't capture the spirit of Jim and Pam - the simplicity, the sweetness, the passion - then I don't know what does. Seriously. You've made me go all misty and sappy. :O) LOVE THIS.
