I really, *really* love the idea of the Reverse Jinx as a way to force themselves to talk.
Author's Response: I really appreciate that! It was an idea I wasn't sure would work but liked, so I'm glad you liked it too.

I do believe that their first date was a little awkward (and a tad angsty). But hey! I love the way they sorted things out in this story! Just lovely :)
Author's Response: Thanks! This was a fun challenge to do. I recommend it to others!

The beginning made me so sad, but it was so realistic I think it may have actually happened that way. The rest was adorable and great, though. I loved this so much, great job!
Author's Response: Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback :) I can't really be sorry you felt sad at the start because I did writing it too, but I'm glad it turned around!

So beautiful! Thanks!

This makes me feel warm inside :)
I love that I can actually see this happening, that it feels so real makes it even better.
Author's Response: Thanks. This is probably my favorite of the fics I've written, so I'm really glad to hear that it seems as potentially real to you as it does to me.

Love it! Great job. I like the nonverbal communication not letting them communicate, very much something I could see happening with them.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll be honest, I'm pretty proud of that idea, because it came to me first--I wrote the whole rest of it around that central concept.

A great answer to the bad date challenge! When I try to imagine a potential bad first date, I mostly imagine external forces that are making it bad but you did a great job of making it internal, I love this line:
"There were a lot of bruises. Not all of them were fresh, but they all hurt."
Because that's definitely where they were by the end of S3, so it only makes sense that that's getting in the way of both reconnecting and becoming more than that. The chips and the note were perfect
Author's Response: Hey, thanks! I saw that the challenge asked for a worse date than the date with Roy, and figured that would basically have to be internally generated, like his forgetting her was. I'm glad it worked for you!

I love that you used Jim and Pam’s strengths as friends as initial problems in their relationship. Truly a great little story.
Author's Response: Thanks! That was the only way I could think of to fulfill both parts of the challenge: bad date but he still buys the ring in a week. Because the bond had to be pretty strong and functional (as of course it is) for the second part, but the first part still had to happen.

:) Short but very sweet
Author's Response: :) I try. Apparently I only write 400000 words or 600.

When I saw that this was 678 words and marked complete I was a bit baffled. But dang, you sure do make each word count don’t you? I love all of it.
Thank you for participating in the challenges challenge!
Author's Response: Heh. Yeah, I wanted to experiment with a more birds-eye view of the situation. I'm glad you liked it. The Challenges Challenge is fun!
