Oh, yay! I can't tell you how happy each of these chapters made me. Pam making additional little efforts to reach out, bonding with his mom, the sweetness of the evening with the Christmas tree, and ohhh, that last one :)

So sweet and good. I loved the part with Kevin. Now get back to DL! :)
Author's Response: Thanks - and trust me, I'm working on DL!

She was Fancy New Beesly
This made me giggle. It's like her title. I love how he's falling back into their old pattern except better.

Aww, silly Pam. What an adorable, tentative first step for her.

This was awesome! You're such a good writer. (can't wait for more distance learning! come on!!) I've been thinking it would be cool for someone to write a more realistic version of how Jim and Pam might interact following the upcoming merger and this seemed pretty real. I would love to see this kind of thing happen...great job!

Oh, the sweetness! I loved this, and think it is a very realistic version of how things could play out. I just don't see Jim and Pam being able to avoid falling into their old dynamic.

"'Back', as in, 'not gone anymore.'
Hee. That line cracked me up. Picturing it (hearing it?) in Kevin made me laugh even more:)
You are a fic writing Machine! Loved the beginning, off to read more...

This is so sweet and adorable, and very true to the show. I can see something just like this happening--tiny baby steps leading up to the big moment.

Nobody needs Ryan Seacrest to tell them anything! There are so many things to love about this but I have to go with Christmas because I'm a sucker for live trees. I love when she said the tree reminded her of Jim, tall but not too full, and her rubbing cream on his forearms - you are shameless! Another great job.

What a delightful way to begin my morning....holidays, Jim eating jellybeans, Pam FINALLY showing some initiative, Jim's mom (mom liking girlfriend = good thing, or so I tell my son.) And btw, very flattered by your response to the haiku review I left yesterday - thanks for that!
Author's Response: Yes, I truly believe the clincher is that Jim's mom would love Pam - even though she's put her son through hell. I think as a mom Larissa could see the ultimate good Pam does her son.

a tall blue spruce that Pam feared would be too tall but not full enough. ... Because it reminds me of you," I love those lines, they do sound like Jim

So much to love about this story. Jellybeans, Larissa Halpert and Pam making all the moves. EXCELLENT. And New Year's Eve declarations of love without having them drunk off their asses? Also excellent. What a lovely morning treat!
